The annoying thing is if you post pics on PH it is one click and it's done i can manage that no problem ..simples ... It's only on PCGB site where you have to host your pics on some site before downloading ...i understand i think?? the procedure but it never works [] Anyway i have my own technical staff to sort things out for ...age has it's advantages !![]
[] I took a guess at chronological order of joining the thread but could be wrong[&o]ORIGINAL: VvrooomM Pushed down the picture pecking order by a drug dealer!!
ORIGINAL: Big E I've applied for PCGB membership and hope to get the instructions on the "secret handshake" through soon [] Are there decent PCGB events? Any of the Spydermen get along to any? My Spyder went into storage (temp and humidity controlled of course!) in November and I can't wait to get it back out and stretch it's legs! We built a new house recently and put a garage build on the back burner but now we've put in for planning so hopefully we'll get that approved, built and get the Spyder home where it belongs. It is currently being dwarfed by this monster!
What's the story behind the American muscle Ian? Is that also a 996 turbo hiding in the background?ORIGINAL: flat6 Hi Steve, i'll add you on the next new page[] BigE, we tried and failed to explain it to Brian, so perhaps we don't explain it very well, but i'll try. Based on what you have done, when you click on the thumbnail in your post and view it full size, your browser shows the web address of the picture as http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/upfiles/30002/61553209C5D1404081942FAE221634BC.jpg Grab that web address, put it in your post, highlight it and click the button in your posting window labelled 'image'. That adds the delimiters for it to be recognized as a picture to display. Then when you post it will display the picture. You can actually type the delimiters yourself before and after the web address which is [imag3] before the address and [/imag3] at the end. I've changed the 'e' in image to a 3 just so that it doesn't try to interpret it as a delimiter. You would type 'image' inside the square brackets (or ever img and /img inside the square brackets instead) One step on from that, you should really post your pictures on a website like flickr or photobucket and grab the link from there and do what I have said above. What you have done it upload the picture to the PCGB forum server, which just adds it as a thumbnail in the post. You can as described above then grab the web address of the thumbnail but a) you need 2 posts to make it work b) unlike uploading it to flickr etc. you take up space on the PCGB forum server, which will eventually lead to storage problems, so I don't recommend that. If you click on 'Quote' towards the top right of MY post, you'll see the syntax used on the picture below.

Thanks for the instructions on picture formatting, amended my original post! Unfortunately the muscle car isn't mine! The Spyder is with a local guy I know who has 4 large barns that he uses for car storage. There's an amazing mix of cars, 60's/70's/80's Ferrari's, old Jags, Astons, Alfa's, a 30's Bentley race car, a number of 911's (yep that is a 996 Turbo) and then things like a camper van and a couple of average 4x4's. Don't know why people would pay to keep them inside! They've also got a couple of ramps there so people can tinker with their cars if they want.ORIGINAL: flat6 What's the story behind the American muscle Ian? I am one more to add to the list, i have no pictures as yet but as soon as the sun comes out i am sure i will. Keith "Rocket Man" Fox
Feeling the peer group pressure for not posting a photo. Can't wait for the sun so track day at Donington in two weeks, that should give me some good photo opportunities.
