Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Well it was a nice day weatherwise but the roads were wet and muddy still. Went down through Ruthin to Cerrigydrudion and turned right up the Evo triangle but carried on past Llyn Brenig into Denbigh and then home Before After

Sunny up here but 3.5deg .Had a wee run out down the coast to Prestwick airport Russian Antinoff cargo plane in . Car was covered in a white dust so still salt around despite all the rain we have been having .Forgot just how quick these cars are [;)] and the amount of attention it gets cars drawing along side and looking over .or doing well over the limit just to catch up for a look [;)] Now washed and back in its bed till the next time .One thing i noticed that it sounded very noisy on tick over a tappety sound and it did not go away even after a long warmed up run it was coming from the drivers side around the rear wheel area ?? will contact the dealer and ask the question in the morning.

I see they had their seat belts on !![:D][:D] Your car is way to clean i can never get the window that clean on mine . Roll on the summer .

Went for a blast today, shame everybody else seemed to be driving like Miss Daisy! Took John's advice and got my camera out for some shots before it went back in the garage. [:D]

Did we all go for a fab drive and then when we got home out came the cleaning gear[:D] Must say homerdog they are very nice shots taken there and your pipes look as clean as mine too[:D]

I have exhaust pipe envy! Had forgotten just how fabulous these cars are. Wonderful to be driving it again roof down with the sun shining however cold!

Nice pictures, and pipes! What camera gear are you using? Wet and filthy roads for me (North Yorkshire). Oh well, at least I can go back to polishing when the rain arrives again.

Considering the route I took, I was quite surprised that I didn't see another Porsche or even any other sports cars other than a single orange TVR, especially strange as everyone here seemed to have been on a sortie.

If I'd woken up earlier you'd have seen me! I think the reason the magazines go there is because it's remote! I saw a white Cayman R in the pub car park, driver gave me a wave, would have gone and had a chat but Liz was borderline hypothermic after the M61 and insisted on getting inside the warm building. Well, couldn't have the roof up in daylight today! Saw a nice 996 C4S and a 987 Boxster too.

Now you're all just making me jealous! All I thought about yesterday was getting out in the Spyder but had a busy day, I guess one thing the Spyder isn't good for is taking the family to the airport with their suitcases and ski's!

...Talking of Skiing, the roads up to and around Les Deux Alpes are very nice! Would love to do a road trip up there in the summer if i ever find a Spyder! Phil

It did cross my mind! Although Mrs Big E is fairly understanding in regards to my passion for cars she is not THAT understanding.

Nice kit - I've got a 7D as well. Like you, I need to get using it again - it's not seen action since October, and I fear I've forgotten most of the functions!

Canon 7D and 70-200 f4IS - I've been lazy recently and mostly used my Sony compact, must get the SLR out more often!
