Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

It must be one of these. http://www.gmpperformance.com/index.cfm?PG=detail&PID=228442 I wonder how many they have sold[8|]

ORIGINAL: rob.kellock Never seen a 59 plate Spyder before.
Probably the only "59" plate Spyder in UK It was the UK's first customer car and it was registered very late February (27th I believe) as buyer just couldn't wait to get it on the road and he had a private plate anyway [&o] First picture he sent me upon his return home

Oops, somehow the link didn't go into my post, but yes, that's the link I was looking at, and at that price I reckon the only ones seen on the road will be their demo cars![:-]

So, there's probably only 2 x 59 plate, as Rob spotted the black one in that multi-colour gallery.

[8D] Just back from a fabulous 30 mile blast on a bone dry track 11' and blue skies spring is in the air (today) We both needed that as the Spyder has been stuck in it's web for about 5 weeks now

Good on ya[:)] Mine has only been off the road since Friday as we had more heavy snow (now completely washed away) but i'm looking forward to the commute tomorrow. Don't know if it's unique to the Michelins but they're gripping well at sub-7ºC on wet roads.

I think so. Google Images pulled it in from here. http://www.forbes.com/sites/hannahelliott/2011/05/20/is-the-porsche-boxster-spyder-the-new-cool-kid-car/ I haven't watched the video yet, so don't blame me if it is not appropriate for your office[:D]

Now I understand why John wants a black manual Spyder he has been brainwashed by these young trendy ladies [:D] The Boxster is a surprising but apt fit for the story. Despite its Boxster heritage (sometimes derided as a lesser-man’s 911) it’s a fast, nimble, sexy addition to Porsche’s lineup. Just ask any pro driver–he’ll say that for amateurs the Boxster is much more fun to drive around a track than the 911. On the sartorial side of things, Creative Director Sah D’Simone styled Givenchy, Missoni, Moschino and Agent Provocateur with jewelry from niche and local brands like Dandi Maestre, Giles & Brothers, Fortune Favors the Brave and Alyssa Norton–a classic move from a magazine that aims to pair up-and-comers with the fashion and cultural elite. Bullett - Golden Summer The sun-washed shots will hit newsstands June 7, just in time for summertime wanderlust to shift into high gear. My only quibble? The jewelry and clothes are itemized to tiniest detail–bra, rings, choker–but the car goes unnamed.

ORIGINAL: rob.kellock The thread that just keeps on giving. Spyder in "wheels of choice for lipstick lesbians" shocker!
Here is the perfect interior for those girls to pose around in and the real pleasant shocker is HOW MUCH!![;)] http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201301114885675/sort/default/usedcars/price-to/50000/price-from/35000/model/boxster/make/porsche/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/page/1/radius/1501/keywords/spyder/postcode/e95lw?logcode=p

Could be the car for John - electric heated seats. And that ultra rare Spyder extra - electric heated glass rear window [:D] Premium price but one dodgy interior shot from the original owner's phone when she picked it up at the dealers and another taken by the Mrs whilst packing both "trunks" to go on holiday. And it's got the wrong wheels!

The door pull surrounds have been painted white. I didn't even know that was an option!

Another with the red lippy interior! http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/porsche/boxster-987-05-current/porsche-boxster-987-gen-ii-spyder-2011/1043805
