I do like the black paint with red leather. Black seatbelts, the grey alcantara and black centre stack of controls goes well together.

As the man says - another good find! The black car looks nice but strong money for a private sale? No 2 year OPC warranty etc. Mind you, compared to Rob's find, it's a bargain! A busy day in the web!

And here's one for you Rob. I know you're a GT3 fan[;)] http://www.kvcphotographie.com/#!shooting/photostackergallery0=12 So, that link might not work. Go to Google switch the search from 'Web' to 'Images' and enter "boxster spyder vs gt3 cs" Yes, 'CS'. Pics like this one should come up, some with, some without a GT3 alongside the Spyder. http://0.static.wix.com/media/e772dc_8cfe09c1998fea886410585edd54413b.jpg_512

ORIGINAL: jdpef356 I found just the mistress for you guys[:D]
spyderwoman.jpg
How about taking her for a ride?[;)]
That's a cool outfit. I'd need a Cayenne, with the front passenger seat removed, to get her in[:D] She's got good posture too[:D] You need to try to find that on youtube[;)]

Cheers buddy. Yes, when the car reaches cult status, which is hopefully long before classic status, we should have our own register[:D] (I think that link works on a PC but not on a mobile device - gets redirected to their mobile site which then goes off to a different page[&:])

ORIGINAL: John H Monkey Harris wades in ... http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=27025
Brilliant find John. I hope Monkey Harris buys one - that will re-ignite all the "Spyder - should you or shouldn't you" debates on PH etc. Just looked at the comments that follow the story. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=23&t=1244784&nmt=RE%3A+You+Know+You+Want+To%3A+Porsche+Boxster+Spyder#topicTop Not much has changed. There's those who would never buy such a car who have stronger opinions about how the roof performs, than those who actually have the car and have no problem with it. It was the same back in 2010 when the car was in the hands of a few owners who were very happy with it and more comments coming from people who didn't have one, who were convincing themselves that they had made the right decision not to buy one. If one can't live with the manual roof or the wind noise, then one can't live with the manual roof or the wind noise[:D] Apart from a recall of I think 9 cars for a faulty latch, I haven't seen any major roof issues being discussed on the web apart from wind noise.

These few points are so on the money IMO [;)] For a limited run machine which happens to be one of the best drivers' cars the company has made in the past decade, they look good value to me. There's a strong argument for saying it's the sweetest road car Porsche has made in a while: small enough to be threadable, fast enough to not infuriate. Making a judgment on driving experience versus cost, that must make the Boxster Spyder one of the best value used cars out there. And to underline John's wish list I would like a red one with silver wheels, but no such car is currently for sale. So of the available stock, I think this black one looks jolly appealing.

The roof is pretty robust:ROFLMAO:
ORIGINAL: daro911 Hope this guy didn't invalidate the warranty by going over the 125 mph curfew in the handbook [:D][8D] Another one for Spyderman TV http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKIOw6CDb8U

I was a bit surprised at his comment about trade values now being into the twenties, which doesn't seem to square with the prices I see being asked. Mind you, asking and getting are not the same! I also agree with his summary about it being the sweetest car Porsche make. Although I much prefer my Cayman to any Boxster I've tried, I preferred the Spyder to the Cayman R.

I would guess some of these Spyders with miles on the clock have been bought by the trade at high 20's to retail for low to mid 30's allowing for any px's etc
