Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

ORIGINAL: Tom 911Virgin We were messed around by the buyer and carried out the major 4 year spark plug service for him. The car is priced at £500 more. Nothing escapes you guys !!
Wish I had your negotiating skills! Mine is due its 4 year major service next month - can you ring Bolton OPC for me and see if they'll do it for £500? [:D] Wishing you every success Tom, there seem to be a lot of "deposit taken" cars on your site, you have a great business model.
Fear not Rob we paid about £850 + VAT for the spark plug service and brake fluid change. Cheers Tom

I thought you would be driving this one by now [;)] http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/porsche/boxster-987-05-12/porsche-boxster-987-gen-ii-spyder-2011/2249445?isexperiment=true
Got to be slightly over priced in my opinion, but what would I know. God help us - the end of the world must be nigh, a manual with buckets and Spyder wheels is for sale. I thought owners of these were going to be buried in them.

Fear not - it's missing sports chrono and it's the wrong colour. I'd let mine go for that sum. Less depreciation in 4 years than a new Boxster would have driving out of the showroom!

ORIGINAL: tyinsky Think this is the nicest one I have seen. Noticed it in a PH article where the author says given £100k to spend a Spyder would be getting bought. All stems from a drive in a car owned by someone at Singer in California. No idea what suspension it has, the wheels are green and so is the stripe.

Edited trying to get the image to work!
I bet green won't catch on lol. Imagine green seat belts or green leather to go with it. I wonder why Porsche doesn't offer that[8|] It does look quite subtle though.

TOP555 car was up for a lot of money too for a 2010 example £41950.00 but it did have buckets and a stick[:D]and the traditional paint colour for a Spyder[;)] How long before we see the £49950.00 Spyder for sale[&o]

They do offer it to those with the ability to imagine something a little different and are happy to pay for it: http://www.porsche.com/uk/accessoriesandservice/exclusive/philosophy/ Absolutely love the cars Singer produce. Good to see one of their personal cars is a Spyder - like the way the stripe/position is the same as their own version.

OK, I'll take £50k for mine [;)]........ticks a lot of the above boxes......white; PCCB; PSE; buckets; manual; no a/c; no radio!!!! Already had 20% more than paid for it in December offered but the old chestnut remains, what would even £50k buy you that's better?

That's incredible. Do you know the mileage?

if you earn 1 million £ and the cars the spec you want what's 55k ? It's not like you can go and buy a PCCB Spyder with RSS arms and a lipo battery tomorrow any where else. Some times if you are very lucky you can get way over book price if the buyer has to have that car and cannot get one any where else. It's not like you can retro fit PCCB for less than 15k, that battery is 2k and the arms 2k. you see some old escorts go for 150k now that's crazy for a mk1 Escort you have people asking 100k for 80k worth of viper green GT3 so 20k for a colour !!! And people will pay 20k over list for a 991 GT3 which you cannot even own till OCT
