ORIGINAL: Fire_2 a few buddy's booked a last minute thing at brands last night, I wanted to test my harness's that I fitted pushed out quite a few 56/57 secs laps, I'm on the edge of the tyre again so will need alittle more camber and cup 2 tyres soon anyways here's the vid enjoy,
Come on Fire 2, I was pedalling it around the Indy circuit in 53 seconds in my little 150bhp Caterham, must try harder [:D] But of course you weren't really timing on a track day [;)] Video looks good in what looks like fading light, what on board camera do you use?

You are lucky enough Not to suffer from low back problems I take it ? Or else you would know that in All weathers the heated seats are a huge boon [:)]
wear a vest :), I am not joking but a bucket surrounds you so much at the bottom it's very warm to sit in and much softer and shields you from any wind getting down there., I do get lower back issues but they go away when sitting in the bucket seats, (that's true not made up) Extra heat is not good and expands your disks in your lower back which can makes things worse although it may feel nice to begin with. people need to fix the cause of lower back discomfort not look for a solution after it starts to hurt, maybe your seats adjusted wrong. (again not joking) most peoples seats are mis adjusted I have act been on a seat adjustment course for a major company who's field engs took too much time off with back issues 90% have their seats very very wrong. inc lumber ajust. best thing for my back is sitting in my buckets, I also find normal Porsche seats very hard to sit on and they give me numb bum within an hours drive.

well blow me !!i didnt realise you were an neurosurgeon as well[:D] as an ENT specialist i have consulted numerous colleagues - real neuro and orthopaedic surgeons i wont go into the details of what their opinion is but it certainly dont match yours chummy!!!! BTW its not necessarily the buckets PER SE that are a problem for me or many others-its the getting in and out of them which can cause very real rotational problems on the lumbar spine where disc damage has destabilised the lumbar vertebrae.(but you probably didnt get that on your "seat adjustment course"[:D] only joking with you

Fire_2 Nice video ..you were not hanging around that GT3 held you up bit [:D] a wee scary bit at 2.27 [;)][;)] hats off to you guys i just don't have the b.... for this .

I think the delete Boxster badge looks nicer on the rear .... nothing to do with being a badge snob[;)] In fact most cars i have bought i delete some part of the badges just looks tidier IMO .If i ever go down the 981 /991 i will definitely delete that Huge Porsche Logo ...sorry do not like it. As to the seat debate it is all down to personal choice but think the Buckets suite the car best ....getting in and out is a hassle at times especially if some one parks close up to you getting the door open and out you have to be like Houdini [:D] find sliding the seat back and forth is best as i have wee short legs [;)] Have tried the Sports and a hell of a lot easier i have to say . But as they say you can only *** with the **** you have [:D][:D][:D]

the key point here is your line "BTW its not necessarily the buckets PER SE that are a problem " I rest my case :)

Has anyone here been to the Porsche museum in Germany before? Going this weekend and was just wondering what to expect, apart from loads of Porsche Porn [8D] Phil

Regarding the Shelsley Walsh breakfast meeting this Sunday. My pal Les is not taking delivery of his Spyder until Mon next week as OPC Bristol are doing a few things including updating sat nav, They have described the car to him as "stunning" he is very excited, but sad to say googdbye to his 930 Turbo that he has owned for 10 years. So there will now only be 2 cars attending.
