I see the new GTS press cars are speced for real men I don't see a R coming to market now you can spec the GTS like this Buckets sports suspension PCCB Manual Am I the only one with the 1st public VIP test drives on 17th June ? Some of you guys must have had invites to drive it. just speced it up though to 75.5k with PDK and PCCB....

They look like the Audi buckets that cars are getting stolen for [&:] Rendering most of them write offs. Anyway on a jollyer note I spotted this "Must have" for Spydermen at Jasmine today. (I know it's for the 918 but fits the bill [] )

why did you spec. pdk when you are always saying its the wrong box? i priced a manual with heated leather buckets,pccb,sports suspension,ptv etc and pcm etc at £68k

because the new 981 gear ratios are longer, and that was one of the main reason I sold my GT3 (to long a ratio), PDK has 7 gears so shorter ratios, plus you have to make the jump at some point ;-) Seems they don't design cars to be manual now days. getting about 120mph in 3rd is stupid and most of the time will be annoying :-(

I would go as far as saying the wrong box is manual in the 981 ;-( thing is it takes time and money to realise about gear ratios, but when on that B road in 3rd and you are trying to rev out that 981 you are just never going to get there, it will be very frustrating to drive on UK B roads and people will order manual without even thinking if that's what they want and it will ruin the car.

its all about emisions even the gear ratios in the 987 are imho also too tall!is it true that the gt3 rs has shorter ratios? so if i was buying a new porsche means i have to learn to like pdk
