Looking good Rob.... Quick question about cleaning the Spyder. I have never owned a car with decals on it. So when cleaning, claying, polishing or waxing do i still clear of the decals altogether?!

Thanks. I just treated them the same as the paintwork but was just generally careful around them - I have seen them damaged on other cars (quite badly on one car at the Porsche Experience Centre) which I suspect was caused by a hi-pressure hose.

£100 change from £50k for a 2012 Cayman R - that's the most expensive I've ever seen. Can't be long now before we see the same for a Spyder. http://ucl.porsche.de/ucl/plsql/uk/clients.show_car?sid_=930122045CW6HMW8UOZU05OJKFQR9YR&pnr_=1&lnr_=1&caller_=

werkstat is great on the decals also :) I have stopped claying and now use a spray called iron-x or others like it that does the same job but contactless.

Always fancied a V8 of some sort. Lucky enough to have C63 AMG on demo for a couple of weeks from tomorrow. Very affordable looking at today's prices against Spyder but I guess higher running cost and much heavier depreciation. Better power to weight ratio than Spyder and 0.5s quicker to 60mph, be interesting to see how it compares stepping out of one into the other. Sure someone on here must have owned one.
