...as they say 'don't let the facts get in the way of a good story'. [;)]

So there was another Spyder at Le-Mans!! I never saw one. I've taken my Boxster S down there the last three years and thought how good it was, but the Spyder took it to another level!! Had a V10 R8 Quattro owner telling me to follow the Spyder was amazing and that he had to use all his BHP to keep with me and that his car was squirming in corners!!! The French roads are indeed epic and its the only place I've driven that lets you really show how the car handles. [:)]

Did the crossing on thursday morning,8:15, and stayed at the Porsche curves with lycian events, car was on the site most of the time ,bit did drive most of the circuit on friday .. Where did you stay?

Don't laugh!! Stayed at the Porsche curves in the field behind Lycian events. I go with wildside, big yellow flag with a beer mug on, great bunch of people and have made some very good friends to travel down with. Group included my Spyder a 458 spider an Audi R8 Spider, a Lotus Avora and a Murchalago (think thats how you spell it) along with about 6 other varied 911's plus various other bits and pieces. We go over on the Friday morning, after a curry for ten in Dover the night before, then spend a night an hour and a bit away doing the final drive in on Saturday (best bit of road as we come in round the back!) Great trip and we get back Monday evening. I even looked in through the fence at Lycian to see if there was another Spyder. I would put a picture but still haven't worked out how it keeps telling me they are to big!!

Tim R ..I meet up with Stuart as he was in the same camp site as me .Amazing your paths did not cross as he was the last car at the very back of the site the Dusty Blue one[;)] I had a look out for other Spyders but did no see any even asked others if they had seen any around . Would have been nice to have meet up with fellow owners

Hi Kitchens. Maybe next year as we are definitely going and there is no way I'm not taking the Spyder as that was such great fun this year. Its also will be the twentieth year that Wildside have done the trip so its bound to be a bit special!!!

If you email me your picture I can put it up for you plus put you on the Page 1 Spydermen roll call[;)]

Wildside !!! mmmmmm not sure that is for me ![:D][:D] Certainly wasn't Quiteside on our site [;)][;)] The Classic sounds appealing to me but in a hotel room this time or in a Motor Home [;)][;)] no camping still attending the chiropractors after the camping stint[;)] [:D][:D]

Do it, there were at least 5 Spyders on the Porsche Club France area (but only 2 981 Caymen!). The Classic is amazing, getting my head down now but will be back there after brekkie!

Ha Ha!! That's why we go down on the Friday.....Thursday night hotel Dover[:)], Friday night 4* hotel hour or so from the track[:D], Saturday night camp[:(], Sunday night back in the 4*[:)], then drive back Monday!! Should be more civilised that way, not always the case I have to say though!!![:D][:D]
