The Spyder at RPMTech was on sale private before hand . I made a bid of £33,500 and left it .The vendor came back to me and said was I still interested and in the mean time when I replied to say yes RPM came along and must have offered a tad more[

We viewed at the weekend, but at that money and for a 14,000 mile car I am expecting almost new. We weren't happy with the paint - there were swirls all over the car and the sales guy (very nice btw) said the front has been painted already and has a new set of tyres on. I'm thinking of selling mine. I've had a brief chat with 911Virgin and they've told me what they would sell it at (although I gave them the wrong mileage in error!) which seemed pretty reasonable and in line with my thinking. I'm not really interested in advertising it myself but would like to get a further opinion on values from the regulars on here. 2010 <29,000 miles PDK White Spyder wheels (silver) Buckets PSE Sports Chrono Air Con CDR-30 plus (i think it's called!) Porsche warranty until Aug 2015 Full OPC service history, major service done Aug 2014, geo set up Aug 2014. Check up by Precision Porsche in Sept 2014 (pre a 1,500 mile Euro jaunt) and the only thing they could fault was a corroded exhaust clamp (replaced). Tyres all good. It's very good condition for a 30k car. I'd be interested in your opinions guys, thanks. (edited to add PSE and Sports Chrono)
Swirls are par for the course on black and can be dealt with. Front end repaint is not uncommon on a Porsche they pick up stone chips. Every time I use mine it always comes back with a couple more. The vendor did say in the original advert it would go with new tyres once sold. It does look expensive with the wrong wheels when I know what i could have got it for if RPM had not stepped in and thwarted my deal. As said they probably paid a tad more. ] Then they read the truth that it doesn't matter if it is a light spec or fat boy they drive and feel identical even in the hands of PEC instructors so the need for a radio,air,nav becomes more essential for 21st century drivers than marketing hype[][]Yawn!! How many times are you going to stir up this argument. Just let the punters choose - plenty of choice out there with 10 plus on the market.
