New to market and 3rd at an OPC http://ucl.porsche.de/ucl/plsql/uk/clients.show_car?sid_=60601182TPKXA41D78B1ZS6Y7YYG6XR&pnr_=1&lnr_=3&caller_=

Got 10 litres of oil from Costco for £6 a litre today. Thanks for the advice. :)

ORIGINAL: kitchens Hard to tell from those photos look well worn in the photos[][:D] I believe the limit is 4ml .I know they cannot sell you a car with less . Mobil 0-40 full syn ...some OPC allow you using your own some don't approx. 9 ltrs Any motor factor Costco cheaper . Can;t comment but think it will be ok Warranty extension the fact that you have warranty on the car you should not have to pay for the 111point check I would have thought you would have had a fixed price before you committed to putting the car in I believe there are additional costs for Aircon check Brake fluid change .Tyre sealant change No doubt discs and pads will come up as well ....take a Large tube of Vaseline it may lessen the pain [:D] [:D] This is my understanding but you should check with the OPC in question [:D]
Thanks :) Will get the oil as they said I can supply it. Think it has to have the 111 point check - have the booklet from Porsche next to me. Seems a bit daft given most of it is probably covered in the service! Trying not to think about the disks and pads as I am expecting that!!!!!!! Cost of the service is on their website - £610 for the service, £150 for brake fluid. £180+VAT for the 111-point, £1,595 for the 2-year warranty extension. Guessing I am in for £3k!
That's the correct oil.. Costco is the cheapest perhaps some one could loan you their card or get it for you .. My take on the 111 point check was as long as you had warranty left and you were extending it and getting the service there was no charge .

Still not as good as red! I still have mine and have loved every minute of the time I've had her!! [:D]

That Spyder took a while to sell but very strong money was being asked. Had it been White or Red perhaps it would have gone quicker [:D] [;)] Platinum Silver Metallic,Black Alcantara/Leather,19-Inch Boxster Spyder Wheels,Sport Chrono Package,Sports Exhaust System,Sports Bucket Seats,Sport Shifter,6 Speed Manual Transmission,Cruise Control,Sound Package Plus,CDR-30 Audio System,Deletion Of Model Designation,Universal Audio Interface,Floor Mats,Includes 2 Years Warranty[;)]

As my need to sell has gone away, I'm therefore delighted to say my Spyder is staying. One thing I am now pondering is adding sports mode (£600ish) - would appreciate any comments on the difference it makes to the driving experience for someone who is looking to get the best out of the car on road and track. I know what Porsche claims it does but would like to hear about any real life experience of the before and after impact of adding it to a Spyder - I want to avoid the risk of disappointment.

I never used it that much on my manual Spyder but use it often on my current PDK example. Short shifter & PSE would be my essential tick boxes on a manual and Sports Chrono & PSE on a PDK

Is that 600-ish including VAT? If so I'd be interested in who quoted it, as I've just been quoted 724 inc VAT for the sport mode retrofit...

hay Darrel that's great news you are keeping the sister car to mine ;-) come and try my car out it has a few more trick bits now Ajustable LCA with -2 and even more front track, option to goto -2.5 settings on track and rear Monoball Toe links. I had sports mode retro fitted on the car, just like the response on the throttle better.
