Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

If I was a buyer, I wouldn't value a 111 point check carried out 8 months prior, especially with regards to possible over-revs. Just something to think bout.

New page new pic Well, cool pic from page 1[:)]

Maybe I just want a report for my file or I may be bringing my car to market as soon as the warranty and inspection are done?or is it the wrong time of year? Perhaps £47.5 k should tempt me!or is that to cheap[:)]

The point was only in reference to your mention of selling the Spyder next spring.

Back home and the spyder is running like a dream!(do the techs reset something because when we left the garage it felt like it gained extra horses, even my wife as a passenger seemed to notice a difference in sound?) Well there is much love for our Spyders at the opc by techs and sales people alike and the car does standout among other exotica that was there! The rev range report shows only 100 hours of engine running time which equals about an average of 30 mph and one spirited drive about 3 hours ago(45 ignitions in rev range 1 which equates to 15 revolutions and a second at the redline or 7500)but what is strange is the mileage readout is in kilometers and shows the car doing an extra 20 miles more than the odometer?is that because the car is tested on a rolling road before leaving the factory and the odometer connected?

thats the million dollar question!if i new what the gt4 was going to be like i might be able to answer !but if i could afford to keep it and buy a gt4 i would ! because the spyder is such a peach in the modern porsche line up,so its a tough one!but eventually everything sells for a price one cannot refuse

I am hoping a GT4 and Spyder will be my line up for the next few years, will prob sell the JCW and lease a Fiesta ST for the shopping /gf car

love to be able to do that but cannot afford too!so i have to make a choice! dont buy/lease a new fiesta, currently have a 63 plate hire car while my 2008 fiesta shopping trolley is in for repairs and cannot wait to get my car back!

another interesting bit of info on the mot is the brake test my car came out at 320kg left and right front=640kg and 380kg left and right rear =760kg total 1400kg is this the weight of the car with tester and petrol etc? or 125kg more than standard dry weight!

Good God... My one owner, 2011 16k miles similar spec to the above (Except with proper wheels) looks good value. .!
Some of the vital bits missing ie Sports exhaust, Spyder Wheels, the rest your can argue about (I am not) One thing is for sure its in my favourite colour, be interesting to see if it sells.

Suspect it will sell for that/very close to that. The Turbo wheels look good on them despite being 0.5kg heavier, the sports seats some prefer. Buying from an OPC with a 2-year warranty, and a Cappuccino with KitKat served up by some pretty receptionist somehow makes paying an extra few grand seem right.

Definitely needs the PSE chucked in to sweeten the coffee & kitKat imo
