Tks for the GTS pic. A proper homologation Porsche! [:)] Kitchens, correct, this is not Derek Bell's car! Bell's car is also a red GTS (non CS) with the plate "483BEL" I believe this fine example is the club register secretaries car. Hail! [:D]

8 Days & Counting [8D] Published: 20 March 2015 Porsche Boxster Spyder reborn for 2016 Porsche will add to its Spyder heritage in 2016, with new Boxster Spyder 2010 Boxster Spyder had speedback style rear deck â–º New Boxster Spyder for 2016 â–º Due to get 375bhp flat six â–º CAR magazine exclusive scoop Porsche is developing a follow-up to the popular Boxster Spyder, CAR magazine can reveal - and it'll be on sale next year. The Porsche Boxster Spyder Mk2 is due in 2016, according to our sources in Stuttgart. And it'll come back with a bang, thanks to a flat six tuned up to produce around 375bhp. What else do we know about the 2016 Spyder? Porsche has just released the Cayman GT4, but our insiders insist that the Spyder won't get all the chassis mods that make the coupe so special to drive. The turbos are coming... Why the sudden spurt of special editions? A cynic might suggest that the pure-bred 911 GT3 RS and Cayman GT4 at the recent Geneva motor show, and now the Boxster Spyder coming in 2016, are part of a plan to keep the faithful happy. You see, Porsche turbocharged engines are coming later in 2015 - we're only a few short months away until we see the regular boxer flat six breathed on by forced induction. We'd say the Frankfurt motor show in 2015 is going to ruffle some feathers...

So it looks like 1st April was indeed April's Fool Day [:D][:D] So we will have to wait till 2016 before we see it if this piece is to be believed .. ..who knows what to believe now...They will be telling us next that Santa does not exist [:'(]

Well the GT4 boys have seen it read all about it Youtubed it but still can't get a delivery date which may well be only months prior to the Spyders at current rate[8D] Suits me fine as I really wanted to get another year out of my current beauty which is due the BIG 4 year service in April []

I was talking to OPC earlier and they are still expecting the car this year. They have over a dozen LOI's and are expecting only around 150 UK cars (UK wide - not to themselves!!!). So If this is typical, then echos of GT 4 and a lot of disappointed Spyder hunters.

My OPC said they could have sold 11 GT4's day one but only got an allocation of 4! When I asked where I am on the Spyder list he said near the top but certainly not at the top[&o] I think who gets what will boil down to dealer principle / sales manager deciding and not who ordered/LOI when "Que Sera, Sera"

http://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-porsche/porsche-boxster-market-watch/31649 Article on The Boxster - completely omits the Spyder saying the RS60 is the pinnacle of the 987.

The article finishes but thanking our Club with help in compiling the feature. I wonder who they contacted?[&:]

I don't take notice of many of the pieces on there but that one I thought was especially misinformed. This is part of the intro: "But assuming you've done your homework, what you really need to know is which Boxsters are likely to become collectable in the future, and which are more likely to fade quietly from the collective memory? Which make the finest track-day tools?" No mention of it.

Odd this car has been for sale Before as "Toms" own Spyder at 911 V No buckets and no PCM so neither a racer or a tourer, so don't see it as high spec myself or low miles when low miles in Spyder circles is ultra low miles, as most do circa 2 to 3 k a year it seems. Buckets are a killer missing item though at £7k to buy/add to even bring it back to oem standard spec.

How are buckets a killer missing item? Half the buyers don't want them. Prat.
