I would have liked to have read that. I guess there probably isn't anyone who if they applied to the Alfa the type of logic you'd apply to choosing a Porsche and come up with a 'Yes' decision. But what if Porsche made something like this. The power to weight ratio. The ultra low weight would make braking its party piece as the weight transfer becomes negligible. Similarly, the lack of inertia aids cornering and grip. And for those whom it may concern, mpg goes sky high. I've never fancied that type of car in a Lotus package though.ORIGINAL: homerdogClarkson gave the 4C 6 stars out of 5 in the Times today! Said pretty much the same as the above!ORIGINAL: flat6 You don't buy Alfa’s with your head. More of its foibles here, actually lots and lots of them. But at the end of the day the guy still wants one.

New Cayman R for sale at 911 virgin looks a real bargain with that mileage with the all important Man box buckets and spyder wheels.
You had me interested until I seen the colour ...could not live with a Black carORIGINAL: CLIFFWILKINS New Cayman R for sale at 911 virgin looks a real  bargain with that mileage with the all important Man box buckets and spyder wheels.
Interesting that they're not asking as much money for this as they are for the 2010 Spyder, a year older with more miles. http://www.911virgin.com/porscheforsale/956/987BoxsterSpyderManual/ORIGINAL: CLIFFWILKINS New Cayman R for sale at 911 virgin looks a real  bargain with that mileage with the all important Man box buckets and spyder wheels.
asking and selling though The Spyders not sold, they have had it a few weeks. I think pukker selling spec is £45k on the Spyder this summer, and you know what pukka spec is. people have gone all a bit odd buying as cars are dropping atm not going up 991 GT3 are dropping £3k a week for the last 3 weeks !! and no 997 GT3 are selling at all, at the daft prices !! It's a lovely looking car that Spyder, but as cars get older spec is key. people poo poo what I say, but a £45k car has to have the BIG 4 ! while the older guys want the seats and not buckets most who have the money have the car as a keeper. the only OPC R for sale are PDK and there are no SPyders for sale with the big 4 (R's have to have the big 5) I am not saying mine is the best spec as selling a car with no radio is very very hard, so not bigging up my spec, just stating what's NOT selling and what is. that R at 911 V is also a very nice car, but Black always seems bottom of peoples lists, but if I wanted an R I would forgo the colour and buy that one. I would say the R will sell very soon. time will ofcourse tell us all
ORIGINAL: kitchensYou had me interested until I seen the colour ...could not live with a Black car [/quote Yeah agree about the colour black is hard to keep clean but try finding another with that mileage and spec would be hard. Overlooking the colour although some like black I think it won't hang around long.ORIGINAL: CLIFFWILKINS New Cayman R for sale at 911 virgin looks a real  bargain with that mileage with the all important Man box buckets and spyder wheels.

Thought the 911 V Cayman R looked a bargain price for the mileage and spec. Hard to repeat Cliff.

Rob how about Viper green or Peridot or speed yellow that could be exclusive. []
Cliff so many CTS too choose from but my choice would be Viper Green but not an easy one to shift at sale time did you not say from past experience and several different shades of blue. Couldn't bring myself to pay so much money for any discontinued recent standard colour like Speed Yellow or Aqua Blue Still need to see what is involved if one can order CTS on the Spyder Full CTS list on attached link[] http://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3/876206-reference-guide-to-pts-in-a-my2016-991-gt3-rs.htmlORIGINAL: CLIFFWILKINS Rob how about Viper green or Peridot or speed yellow that could be exclusive. Couple of questions about the 987 spyder guys. Does it honestly matter if the car has no stereo come the Time when you want to move it on ? Really wanted a stereo but to be honest, I never used the 911 one much ! any ideas how much it is to retro fit a CDR30 stereo (not sure if the speakers are there from the factory if you don't option the stereo ). Also short shift on a manual - cheap to convert ?
