Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Well done Dave, must say the car was in a better shape than you.[;)]

You were understandably a tad nervous this being you first PCGB concours. None the less great a great job and good to see you are looking forward to returning in 2017. If my memory serves me correctly Daro could only manage a third in 2015 and he would not take it out unless the forecast was dry for a week.:ROFLMAO: So a third place again not to be sneezed at.

Hope to see you at other events in near future 'come rain or shine'

Well done

Yes well done Dave and it just shows that a little rain didn't do it any harm .My Red Spyder is sitting in the garage after a 969 mile round trip and got very wet on Tuesday on its way back to Scotland and in need of a good wash.

Brian

Many thanks Brian

It was good to meet up at Silverstone.

That's certainly a good round trip to get to know your Spyder. I would offer to give you a hand cleaning it but thankfully you're too far north for me to help out 😀

All the best and hope to meet up again soon , Dave

[FONT=verdana,geneva"]987 Spyder 6 speed Manual. First registered 19/10/2010. 60-registration. Finished in Carrara White. 3 former keepers. Supplied originally by Porsche Centre Bristol then serviced by said supplying dealer throughout. Maintenance record as follows :-

24/10/2012 at 7896 miles (Porsche Centre Bristol)

18/10/2014 at 16084 miles (Porsche Centre Bristol)

09/10/2015 at 20228 miles (Porsche Centre Bristol)

Next service due 09/10/2017 at 40228 miles which ever comes first.

Wheels, bodywork, interior and mechanicals are all consistently excellent and the car drives without fault. The perfect Spyder specification......in no particular order, right wheels, right seats, right transmission, PSE and A/C with Sport Chrono thrown in for good measure.

The car is being sold on behalf of it's owner, a long term friend and customer of 911Virgin and as such the balance of an Extended Porsche Warranty policy through until 23/10/2018 will be passed on to the next owner. Significant peace of mind and a massive inducement to purchase.

19" Spyder alloys , Lightweight / carbon backed folding bucket seats, Climate controlled air conditioning, PSE (Porsche Switchable Sports Exhaust), Sports Chrono Package Plus with dashboard Chronometer and Sport button for increased throttle response, CDR 30 tuner / CD player, guards red seat belts, body coloured Carrara White centre tunnel, on-board computer, PSM (Porsche Stability Management), electric windows, electric mirrors, wind deflector and the usual driver/passenger/side airbags, remote central locking and Thatcham Category 1 alarm / immobiliser.

Supplied with x2 keys, invoices, manuals e.t.c. Considering the Porsche warranty, the specification and the overall condition this really is a great opportunity.

what do they class as a supercar?

What is a supercar or superbike ?

Costs lots of money, has loads of bhp, gets lots of attention and not the daily drive!

Supercar is a term used most often to describe an expensive high end car. We have to be selective with the vehicles we accept as we have a finite amount of space.

If you’ve got a supermodel in your garage or on your driveway and would like to have others admiring her beauty, please email Ciro at info@thesharnbrookhotel.com to register your car/bike for our event - £5 per vehicle including all passengers/pilion.

All we need is your name, contact number & vehicle make & model
