For those who missed out on the 981 Spyder next opportunity will be the 718 Spyder or should that read 981.2 Spyder

or is that just poor English, and should read successor to the naturally aspirated flat-six Boxster Spyder.

(trying not to get hopes up :)

Hope the weather is good at Silverstone my son has a full day at the PEC . The morning is in a 718 and after lunch in a 911 and the best bit it was FREE .

Cool bring on the next Gen Spyder asap if a 6 pot as the current one is not coming down to list fast enough which is annoying for buyers.

At least not as many flippers as GT4 who probably never intended keeping the car.:ROFLMAO:

been for sale 3 months with maxed page at £79k

So no idea why he thinks he can get £82k, I wonder what he paid Maxed page for it, £70k ! Nothing is selling full stop atm

Madness if Maxted Page could not sell for £79 k at this time of the year why someone else would put it up for more.
Most cars at MP are big bucks.

Clearly the Spyder was to cheap[&:][;)]

Hi All, I am currently in the market for a 987 Spyder, does anybody have information on the white low mileage one at Junction 17 ? One lady owner, 6,400 miles manual with buckets and correct wheels. I am planning to go and view it on Friday. I think its been for sale for a while which is worrying me, either the car is duff or the market is dead for these cars at the moment. Still, I might get a few quid off if its the market and the car is right.

I would imagine its the market which has hit a bit of a wall now as demonstrated by the time it took 911V to sell their last Spyder compared to every one they had before it

It looks a cracking example so good luck if it passes your stress tests [;)]

I'm not too far from you if you wanted to look at a local example, had a quick peek and looks good, perhaps a little light on spec for some (no sports exhaust or sports chrono ?), short shift is an easy retro fit and imo really improves the experience too.

With 2 services can't be far off another though I think its just a minor.

There will be others along if its not quite right, I started looking last winter and there was a steady flow of new ones coming up through the winter & spring.

Steven ...this is the best site for Spyder info I replied back to your post on PH on there I am Woodysnr I have a Red 987 .

The only neg on the car maybe the Switchable sport exhaust . Sport chrono. I should have had a Major service done in 2015 even at the miles so next one a minor in 2017 .As a lever I would get a OPC 111 check which will show up any faults and with that done you could opt for to add a Porsche warranty on the car price wise it is slightly high may be £43 K

Good luck any maybe we will be welcoming you to the WWW.

Hi Steven. I think the Jnt 17 car is one that was for private sale in Norfolk back in the summer. It did not sell on PH for quite a while so I reckon they did a deal with Jnt17. Looks a very nice car with low miles. I have a red 987 with the manual short shift, carbon buckets and Spyder wheels, I've owned it a year now and still get out with a huge grin on my face every time I drive it!! The switchable exhaust makes quite a difference to the sound of the car but the sports chrono is more for track days I would say, haven't used mine in anger but does finish the dash off I suppose.Hope the car is as good as it looks, good luck and you will never regret owning a Spyder.

Best Regards Andy.
