Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

That was me !!!! Brought the Spyder from 911 Virgin , New to the forum , been looking for the right spec for a while now , Ferrari is going and being replaced with this , hopefully the head will let me have more fun with this and not be as paranoid .

I have a load of the bloody things lol, I cannot choose which is best, but I do have to say (as my Spyder has zero added weight, no AC, radio, PCM, plus ceramics a rare thing etc) it feels more like my old Exige than any other car I have owned, so watch the weight, or take a look at the new Elise Sprint. avoid PCM imo it is so dated and no help in euro land. and roof up the cars noisy so no point having a radio either, and I don't jest !!! the car seems more noisy roof up then down, in my trip to Spa 3 years back I wore ear plugs.

I also have hayfever but nothing really helps, it's a very annoying thing :-( but then I never drive roof up in the Spyder as I have the R or GT4 for that, the Spyder is my Exige for the person who cannot be arsed with Lotus hassle.

the crazy trio ;-) but I do really like the new Elise Sprint.
Lovely collection! Enjoy!! love the new Elise & Exige 350, but I think im addicted to Pork ..

I was going to buy the Glasgow one despite the "chairs" and not a great spec. But they really messed me about on the trade in on my 987.2 spyder. The whole thing was handled really badly so not sure I would ever deal with them again. Will keep looking for one with buckets.

Sorry to hear you had a less than satisfactory result in dealing with OPC Glasgow .Have you tried the OPC in Edinburgh to see what they would offer you for your 987 as they are the same group and may be able to get the car transferred ,the only draw back Edinburgh have another 987 Spyder for sale at present at £48.500

Spyder now run in ...Just done 380 miles in it at the weekend away with a run up to Glen Goe averaged 27.9 so not too bad as some was quite spirited driving . The noise when in Sport + is addictive.
