Nope - just a photo of you in your car (followed by GT3 RS) on track as part of their advert for their trackday events.

I remember the day, not a nice track event had some big puddles in key areas !

Then I had the mother of all spins and pooped my pants lol think that's the 1st and only time I have spun the Spyder !

Just back from 10 days hooning around in Northern Spain. Mainly in the Picos, but over as far as Santiago de Compostela.

Sport+ mode in the gorges and passes of the Picos made the trip for us. Can highly recommend the area to fellow Spyder owners.

Temeratures were up to 30 degC during the day and we had the top down on every day. Water temp sat resolutely at 90 degC, with oil temp going up to about 116 degC I think. But I did not think to monitor it to see if the oil temp changed with the engine mode selected.

The drive up to and down from the San Glorio Pass (just to the south of Potes) was immense.

I would thoroughly recommend the Picos area in northern Spain. The roads are excellent and very lightly trafficked. Great scenery, food and drink help too. The opposite of the Costas, and so much better for it. The 'Sport Plus' mode got a great deal of use.

happy to advise on good roads.

We also spent a week at the end of May and can only confirm what Paul has already said. We're looking at going back next year and Trying out different towns/routes.

Happy 7th year MOT pass mr Spyder ;-)

always a nice feeling a MOT pass with no advisories, esp when the tester says it's the cleanest car he has seen and how shocked he was that I still had mint white wheel wells ;-)

We have bought one of Porsche's best driver's cars, so we should get out there and use and enjoy them

It's owned by a guy from Sheffield who I've met at a couple of R7 events but whose name I can't remember. He has posted on R7 forum I think but not regularly.

I'm just back from a 9 day Euro tour in my Spyder.

I can honestly say the 3 hours drive time I had driving the Furka, Grimsel and Susten passes, were the best hours I have ever spent in a car (no need for smutty replies !!!).

25 degrees, blue skies and mostly clear smooth tarmac.... perfection !!

I did manage a couple laps of the nordschleife, Porsche factory tour, Stelvio, Monza and a couple of Italian lakes too for good measure.

2.7k miles, but absolutely fantastic.

These cars were definitely made for this :)

Last one .. first event we held 140 in the display side PATH and 60 on the PCGB track pleased with the turnout . When you get to my age it helps being parked near to the toilets [:D]
