if no one likes talking prices why keep posting about price drops !

At this level dropping £2k does not make a car sell, I guess it shows the DP that they are trying, lets wait when it's been on the books 3 months.

did 911 Virgin return the red car or was a offer reached on a Sale ? that price is the key price atm, it's if the seller on here will tell us ;-)

Copied from another section ont he forum will be of interest to 981 Spydermen
981 Boxster Spyder roof problems
I am a member of a predominently german based 'Spyder owners Club', although there are at least 3 UK members. Their website/forum has been reporting problems/issues withe the folding roof around the area of the fins. here is what they have been posting (apologies for the rather poor Google Translate translation of the original german post): Stand 08/03/2017: [[ [<font]Should you be concerned, and need the FIN another SOC member, we will give you the contact (if your is not always in contact). [<font][<font]For privacy reasons we give we know FIN out directly. [<font][<font]This makes your then another. [<font]For the region of Central Franconia[<font][<font] alex987 has reached the Porsche Service Center Nuremberg-Schweinau a "precedent", with replacement of the roof on warranty. [<font]For questions about this report to him directly by [link=https://spyderowners.club/startseite/members-area/technische-infos/serviceaktionen/verdecknaht/alex@spyderowners.club][<font]mail[/link][<font] , [<font]contact information and contact person then come ASAP on the small official channels[<font] , then you can watch plead his case. [<font][<font]I'll post up the four diagrams/photos too

More from above

Here i some further info from the SOC Facebook page: Hi Spyder friends, Now have the feedback from the PC, it goes back to the cracked top Finns on the inside, which may seem so harmless to some, unfortunately, according to Porsche, is a big flaw, which in the worst case can be tear half the top (this has been given to me Said). The PC has sent image to Stuttgart and the answer is very sobering, the half top is supposed to be renewed according to Porsche. Details on this will be found on Friday. It's not like the sattler just comes by and puts a patch on the spot. The measure is supposed to take over 1 week and I get a free car, but funny is that it's not my home pz and car is always such a story. The release came directly from Porsche. There is no experience here, and I am afraid to be the first. So my request, look at your spyder finns. I know at least 5 cases where it looks like it. Many greetings Torsten

I posted as a seperate thread in the Boxster forum as this is the problem with not being allowed/given a specific 'Boxster Spyder' forum and anything 'Spyder' being dumped into one thread

Anyway, hope it gets through to the collective

btw, when they make reference to "PZ", that is short for Porsche Zentrum, i.e local Porsche Centre to us UK based folk

Sorry about number of pics and words but found it easier to copy that way.

Thanks for posting Paul08

Surely with approx 200 981 Spyders in the UK and a possible Safety issue we should expect a recall?
