someone has to keep a few for posterity and miss out on the real fun of ownership .
Ideal spec for collector car would have had less unnecessary options i think .

Not sure why it would appeal to a collector, with AC and PCM etc ! the AC will have failed by now esp on a garage queen and the PCM is so outdated on this model it's useless.
I would say the Launch spec cars are always the collector cars, Porsche owned and the headline weight saving spec, but always with PCCB and leather. (£9k extra for those 2 options)
nice car but with all those weight options it misses the point of the concept a little.

that , but for an ideal collectors car that would appreciate best , it needs to have less luxury options .
We can probably agree on Manual and Buckets as essential .
Others desirable like sports exhaust , short shift , PCCB . A/C delete . Light Battery.
I wouldnt discount A/C for example if it was otherwise mostly “ pure” . The PCM is black mark for sure .
My plan is to put as many quality miles on mine as possible and maintain it well . Keep it until
i cant drive it and maybe just to look at after that .
It is lacking the sport button, think a few have had it retro fitted, was wondering if that might add a bit more to the pse which is a little quiet compared to my carnewal 981 in sport mode? Anyone know if the sport map creates a bit more drama with the exhaust and what the cost is of sport retrofit??

Latest Spyder video from the ring . Could be 6 cylinder turbo ?
Not according to Porsche Experience Centre where they had on show the F4T engine and it completely fills the 718 engine bay and the F6T wouldn't even come close to fitting as the Turbo & extra cooling are HUGE space invaders[&:]turbo jonny said:[link=https://www.instagram.com/p/BhqqMaqgO98/]https://www.instagram.com/p/BhqqMaqgO98/[/link]

It will either be n/a F6 or a highly tuned F4T [8|]
