Brighton Hoon Resurection ?

I'd join up in a convoy from London, as long as you S2 boys promise to slow down for us poor turbo owners....:)

Pete

It would be great to see you Oli! The date will be set well in advance mate. Pete', I will make it a condition that all S2 and other naturally aspirated cars MUST have a hundredweight bag of cement in the boot to allow all the Turbo cars to keep up on the "blat" down the M23 [8|].........:ROFLMAO:!!

A big bag of cement in the boot would give it more tail-out handling, which could be quite good fun. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes, do publish the date and I'll look forward to meeting you!

Listen all, please could someone (Mr McNulty)post my original bit of this thread on the other transaxle sections of this forum (924, 928, 968). Your help in this would be much appreciated [:)]. As you all know I am rubbish with computers [8|]. Martin RS2K, how about you mate? you're good with all this IT nonsense!!![;)].

Thank you for doing this for me Martin, you are a Gentleman. Most kind indeed [:D]. I would like to make the 2016 Brighton meet the biggest one yet and, I am hoping for 25+ cars [8D]. Lets make it happen! I will post the date around Christmas time when it is known. Thanks Guys [:)].

Thanks, Martin. You beat me to it! I'll certainly be there is work doesn't get in the way. I've not planned my 2016 diary yet, waiting to see what the weather does! :ROFLMAO:

I've already told you Paul, the weather will be warm and sunny for the "Hoon in Joon" [;)].....[:D]!!

But will you still be feeling the love for the unboosted 968 ;) .

Hi Pete. If the dates work out I'll come along. As always, work may get in the way.

Also, be aware that "Simply Porsche" is running at Beaulieu on the 5th June so probably best to avoid that date if you can.

Thanks for the "Heads Up" Glenn, I will keep my fingers crossed that the spare day on Madeira Drive (almost every weekend throughout the summer is some sort of event or function on Madeira Drive [8|]), is not the 5th of Joon. If it is then, I will have to sort out another date and venue also, some other sort of activity or, a drive out somewhere as the Classic Car Show at Stanmer Park will most likely NOT be an option [8|].

Paul Blade, I'm probably getting a bit too old for all this "Boosted/Un-Boosted" nonsense [;)]! Anything will do me at the moment mate! I hate being Porscheless.....[:(]! Martin, you just know I will [;)][8D][:D]

Right time to resurrect this post. When is it Pete? Need to get the time off booked fairly soon.[:)]

As long as my car is not in bits (various elements of work require doing this year) I would certainly be up for this.

Yes. Dates. We need dates!
