Brighton Hoon Resurection ?

Dates wrapped in Bacon.....? Hmmm, now there's a thought [8|]. I will have to suggest this to Brian [:)]. Ok guys, I will contact the council this week and see when the spare weekend in June is (the official list don't get released until mid January). If it clashes with Le Mans, if everyone agrees, I will re-arrange for the end of Joon at a different venue in the Sussex Downs (plan 'B') [;)]. Keep watching this space guys [:D]!!

Count me in too Pete, it'll be good to catch up after camping next to you at Le Mans (When I say camping I don't mean to remind you about your tent escapade!!)

Never mind a premier inn Martin. we can arrange a stop over at a suitable hotel with nice secure parking for the way down.

Hi everyone, date for the 4th annual "Hoon in Joon" is to be Sunday the 26th of Joon 2016 [8D]. Hope to see you all there [:D]. Just to let you all know, this weekend does NOT clash with Le Mans. However, it is also NOT on the same weekend as the Brighton and Hove Motor Club, "Classic Car Show either (that is on the 5th of Joon and, it will be held at Hove Park this year and NOT Stanmer Park as is the norm). This means that after the "blat" down from Pease Pottage Services, and, the usual" poisoning" at my mate Brian's Café at Madeira Drive, Brighton, I am going to have to come up with something different for us to do after we all get out of the toilet [:'(]!! If anyone has any preferences then, please let me know [:)]. Lastly, can someone with infinitely more computer skills than I, please post this message up on the other three transaxle forums for me? The same thread title was started the same as this one months ago!

Many thanks peeps [:D]!

Pete'.

I am working that weekend, I'll see if I can get the time off.

It might be tricky as that's also the Goodwood Festival of Speed Sunday and many of my colleagues are already committed to that date.

That's the only problem with Summer meets Glenn, so many things clash [8|]. I may not even be able to go to Le mans this year as it's Sarah's 40th birthday and she wants to go to New York for a few days [8|]. How selfish is that []?!! We shall see [;)]. If you can make it then, great! If not, there's always next year [:)].

I forgot to say that I would like a brief show of hands as to who's coming now that we know the date. Do I need to change it? It's pointless organising a meet if the date clashes with another "higher profile" event and, no one turns up [8|]. Plus I need to know how many intend coming so that I can order up the commemorative plaques. I always seem to order too many for some reason and, they aint cheap! Perhaps my expectations are too high [8|]. Anyway, let me know if you can. I haven't heard a peep from the other three transaxle forums either?

I'm probably in. Not fully committed, but it's booked in the diary.

What are the other three transaxle forums? TIPEC will be one - what are the other two?

Oli.

Hi Pete

I will hold my hand up but can't guarantee an appearance yet...I will have a better idea nearer the time..

Pete
