GTS 4.0

After viewing the PeteolPed comparison I finally got around to measuring my seat distance, 18 way seats in a 25th Anniversary 718.

A little over 24 inches in my car, I don't need anything like that being a short@rse šŸ˜‰

My 981 with 14 way is similar to my 718 with 18 way, no major difference apart from the bolster adjustments.

Just seen the price increase on the configurator looks like all base prices have gone up plus all options, looks like all models.

A Boxster GTS is now Ā£75.300 base up Ā£4.600. But folding mirrors/multifunction heated wheel and auto wipers are now standard equipment. which I make Ā£864 so still a Ā£3.736 increase plus the increase on all options.

deviated stitching looks no longer available on any parts only as part of the GTS trim package.

various colours are no longer available and 718 T GT4 and Spyder models have been taken off the configurator.

looks like the 718 is coming to a end sooner than predicted.

Congratulations Paul, exciting times ahead.

I feel these are going to be rare beasts, given the impending and advancing end of the 718.

A substantial price increase on all the options too. To buy my car now would cost Ā£7,262 more than it was just fifteen months ago.

As well as GT4, Spyder and T models being discontinued, PCCB and Paint To Sample no longer available, plus Python Green, Aventurine Green and Dolomite Silver have gone too.

Although they have said that ICE 718 models will continue alongside the new 718 milk floats.

Mine has gone up over Ā£5k from the initial order in November. This now pushes it into the Ā£90ks after the new car registration tax. I don't think I will be exercising my option and will keep the Arctic Grey cancellation I collect on Monday.

I saw that too - I've been playing around with the configurator this week and the car I spec'ed on Monday was suddenly well over Ā£80K yesterday !

I kept checking and rechecking to see if I'd accidentally selected options that had pushed the price up so much.

Still no idea whether I will get to order my own build but having fallen completely in love with my current 4ltr GTS, I won't be too upset and will just wait and see what Porsche announce for the replacement...

If I were ordering mine now it would be Ā£6k more expensive. Er in doors has just said if it was that price when we ordered it you wouldn't be getting one!

Mine has just said exactly the samešŸ˜…

Mine said ā€œso itā€™s gone up in value and you havenā€™t even got it yetā€ who am I to contradict.

For those concerned ... just delete those `non essential` options [;)]
What, like 'er indoors? Don't think you should be encouraging that kind of thing...
