New members welcome and photos

Hello! I'm not a brand new member and have previously introduced myself on this thread. However I cant get my Picture to show up under my name. I have resized a photo of my baby to 20k and L 290 pixels and it has been uploaded in to my profile area but does not show up on my new posts......as you can see from this post. Please does anyone have some tips for getting a photo to appear under my name?

Yes I did, I can see the box representing the image in my Profile and I get the "upload successful" when i upload my image to the site. I also tried linking in the "enter URL" a gif https://.......... link but that didn't work either...? Any other advise?

Looking at your details I can't see an uploaded avatar (which is the piccie that appears under your username) I can see the profile picture. This one

Are you sure you uploaded an avatar and not just the profile photo?

Hi and yes i uploaded that photo hoping to make it display under my name......I have not uploaded it as an Avatar and did only upload the photo as a profile photo........ So the solution is to resize the photo to meet the avatar size requirements and upload it to the Avartar place....?

THanx......uploading image to "Web Resizer" to smash it down to 145 pixels and under 20K :( Off-Topic: I do wish that the club would adopt a web forum that is compatible with the Tapatalk App, this is not the first time i mention it and after sending a message on to the web developer....no response. I really can tell you that being able to open an app on phone and see forums is a very nice way to keep up to date and makes following the forum very easy. Thank you tscaptain........as you see i managed to get a photo to display, however the results are far from ideal. the 145x145 and under 20k limit don't make for a great image. I will have to Google how to crop and optimise images to get a better result.
