ORIGINAL: stokey Whoops Nick, am I right in thinking they put the wheel on the wrong side?[:)]
Yes and I keep trying to change gear with the door handle. Follows a pattern though as my 964RS was Maritime Blue and LHD; 996GT3 was Black and RHD; now back to Blue and LHD; so anyone know of a black RHD 991 GT3 [;)]

It's Red on the outside but black inside so close to your requirement [:D] http://www.dicklovett.co.uk/Dealers/Porsche/Porsche-Group-Used-Cars/911_GT3_(991)/0

Thanks John. Hope Cathay manage to get their act together on the roster.
ORIGINAL: garyw Stunning car Nick, I look forward to seeing it.. It seems as if Blue is the new register colour!
Gary, I always view blue as being the thinking man’s choice in the absence of Meteor/Cocoa.[:)] See you in March?

Surely that's a pedal (as in foot) clutch and a manual gearbox..? (A proper driver's car....[8|][:D]) Unless you have very long arms...[:)]

Thought a proper drivers car was one you had to drive at 20mph over the levels and on normal British road so a not to damage the underneath or driver but you could crack on about how fast it is on a track.............. Hang on isn't that a Ferrari, or indeed what the owners club drivers mostly do....... Ahhh a proper drivers car = Ferrari.......

Welcome Tamer. Which region are you in? Updated your status to "Club member"
Thanks very much Alan. What a pleasant surprise. That was a very nice touch, thank you. I was going to send a request for this but reading through the forums I noticed there was quite a queue of others asking for the same and decided the admin must be inundated with requests and to leave it for another day. Thanks again. I'm in region 16 - Gloucestershire. Have been a member of PCGB since last May, just going through my first membership renewal. Have not made it to any of the regional meetings yet as I (still) play football on Wednesdays but will try to make it to Wooton under edge in the near future. I will be at Castle Coombe on Saturday. But not planning on going on the track this time as I think last time I peed a few drivers off (was my first time on track) and I couldn't contain the adrenalin rush with my 911 well up for whizzing around the track. I didn't have a clue what part of the track I was driving throughout most of the time during the five or six laps I went round it and totally forgot the instructions during the pre race ;-) Also hoping to participate in the upcoming Gliding event in Trowbridge next month and Air Tattoo in Fairford in July that Stuart and Elaine are organising for R16, so might see you around. Ps. Just peeped at your profile and love that shot of your Turbo taking off round one of the bends - and I note that was at Castle Coombe! ;-)

Yes. Very polite and relatively calm instructor. "less than ideal situation" indeed. Had me in stitches... You use your other other right foot for the brake you plonker!! Ha ha ha ha..
