Hi

I have recently moved back to the UK after spending nine years in Oz. My priority on return was to buy the car of my dreams and here she is, a gen 2 997 Carrera S PDK. Very happy and looking forward to my first PCGB event at the R8 TOTEM on Sunday this weekend.

I will be looking to add the sports chrono in due course.

Regards

ashley

Hello all,

Well after a trip through Japanese and then an M3, I finally got to own a 911. And despite all my worries, and everything I've read, I threw caution to the wind and bought this Carrera S Cab manual. It's a pretty car, but with some interesting spec; Chrono, PASM & PCCB. I've hardly used it, so other than bringing it home and some local trips out, it's yet to get a good drive, but I really want to take it somewhere like the South of France or Italy.

I like OEM originality, but I'm not beyond changing things for the better as long as they are in keeping. So I'm thinking about LED fronts, and maybe something that makes it a bit more 'butch' [:D]

2nd Year of Membership and now on our 2nd 997. Original venture into 911 ownership was a 2006 Cobalt Carrera . Really fantastic car and still miss the colour. We were looking for a Cobalt or Guards Gen 1 Turbo but couldn't find a tidy one. Then a 2007 Turbo in Polar Silver with many options came up at Silverstone OPC. Once we had seen it we had to have it, such a stand out colour and glad we snapped it up.

Hi

I have owned my 2006 997 Carrera S for two years, but only just learnt how to post a photo!

Bought from 911 Virgin and no real problems.

Regards

John Mc

Hello Dominic,

Congratulations on joining the "Turbo Set" - a fine looking steed and you will never look back. Welcome also to PCGB and 997 Register.

We hope to meet up with you on one of our future events.

When you have a minute take a look at the Members Only section of the 997 Register forum and you will find the Technical Section providing lots of useful info and tips about your car.

Enjoy. [:)]

Hello

Just joined, recently moved to owning a Porsche after ownership of several BMW's new and old. Purchased myself a 2007 997 Coupe C4s earlier this year, running her as a 'sunday/weekend' car. Need to organise some better photos, but for the interim here's one captured the evening I picked her up.

Hello Damion,

Welcome to PCGB and 997 Register. Congratulations on your new motor. I particularly like the wheels.

If you email me a full sized photo, I'd be delighted to place it in the members' gallery on the Club website, maybe even get it published in a future edition of Porsche Post.

Regards,

Clive

Hi everyone

Recently joined the PCGB. I am the proud owner of a 997 Turbo S, its the first Porsche I have owned and I love it. Hope to get out on some of the meets and hopefully get to know other members of the club. My car is not a daily runner its a weekend toy.

I have attached a pic of the car when it was in the detailers.

Cheers
