New members welcome and photos

Hi Ben,

Welcome to 997 ownership and the PCGB 997 Register.

I've posted that lovely photo into the Members' Cars Gallery on the Club website. Click on the thumbnail and it will feature as the heading with a caption.

If you'd like to email me a full size photo, I'll try to include it into a future edition of Porsche Post.

Regards,

Clive

I'll just get the original from the photographer friend of mine and forward it on. I've checked and he's fine with it going ito print if possible.

You don't see a Guards Red for ages and then two come along together just like the proverbial buses - lovely (Another unbiased colour comment) My first Gen 1 had those wheels, Andrew, and very nice too. And just for old times sake, here she is!![:D]

Hi,

Thought I'd say hello as I've joined the fold recently. Traded my 987 Cayman in for a 997 C2S as Ive always craved a 911 and this one came up at my local indy. Ticked almost all of the boxes for the spec I wanted.

Im booked in for Anglessey so hope to see some of you there.

Hi all.

Finally joined. My names Ryan and I live just outside Stafford, Staffordshire.

This is my first real Porsche and I'm lovin' it [:D]

Hi Matt, Ryan,

Welcome to the 997 fold! I hope you enjoy your motors and I look forward to catching up at future club events.

Will you be coming to the Silverstone driving experience on Friday 6 May? I'm thinking it may be a super way to discover more about your new cars.

Clive

If any new members would like to send me a photo of your new pride and joy I can post these to the 997 members gallery. Send them through to 997@porscheclubgb.com

Additionally, if you send the photo through in high quality (at least 1mb) Clive White and I can include it in a future edition of Porsche Post, which I thought was very cool when my car was included. For this I also need the model details including year of manufacture.

Clive

Would love to come to Silverstone but as the event is fully booked, I'll be keeping an eye out for a possible sept/oct/nov one.

I will have to sort some 'out and about' pics [:)]

Thanks Clive, I've only recently been for a 911 Evolution Porsche Experience there (40th birthday present from the wife) so decided against it. You'll have a great time there though.

I'll be at the Anglesey track day in May if any fellow 997's are going?

Newbie to the club and forum. Just acquired my 997 C4S in December - 10 years old, 1 owner, 100,000 miles - nice!

Welcome to the club and the register.

It might be a bit quiet here this weekend as the register RS and a group of members are away on the SW Tour hopefully enjoying their 997s[:)]
