I've gone for white (with white wheels) next time - although I've still to finalise!
Rear wiper - well it's personal choice of course but I've always had coupes with them and I wouldn't consider one without - besides it's a no cost option on turbo so I don't see the point in not having it.[;)]

The VTS (tracker) is a No cost option on the Turbo, you do however have to pay for the subscription at £200 per year.
It would take 4 years to get the money back on the tracker and then the hassle of any electrical issues on your car if not a approved Porsche system..

There's a white Turbo on the dealer network at the moment [8D]

?????? [8|] I paid £985 extra for mine!!!
Have I been seen off by my OPC? [] []

I paid nothing for my VTS on my 997 C2S (apart from the £ 200 per year). I thought as of this year the tracker was installed for free across the 911 range. Previously the cars were just prepped for VTS

By 63 quid maybe - but not more than anyone else! [;)]

The base price is £95,923 + UK spec. options i.e £68 Top tint, £864 electric roof, £985 VTS = Total £97,840

It's jolly confusing isn't it? [:(] The UK "options" aren't actually options - you have to buy them! []
According to the official website, the list price for a UK spec 997TT £95,923 + "Equipment" at £1,917. Total = £97,840.

My invoice says £83,406.81 and if I add in the UK "options" and calculate VAT, all this comes to over £100K.
It's pretty bewildering really! [&o]

As from the UK Porsche website...[:)]

Terminology really, UK spec..
You have to have the items, Yes you can remove them (like the sunroof) from your spec but your still going to have to pay for them[:'(].. so a No cost option in my terminology

Thats a mighty spec Alex, may I respectfully suggest you loose the rear wiper and bling aluminium interior stuff though, spoils the whole plot !

The rear wiper is actually on my maybe list. So we shall see which way the wind blows on the day I set the spec!

As for the alu handbrake and gearstick, I think this looks MUCH better than the standard. Here's a pic I took the other day...

Still not convinced Bro.

Exclusive 'Cardboard footwell trim' might catch on though !

Yves

I certainly wouldn't argue with the spec Alex, the handbrake I think would have been OTT with mine as I have the Aluminium look centre console, so the handbrake would have been lost in amongst it, either way the lower section is Aluminuim as standard.
