Cheers Mas, it's a lot of fun some days, if there was a little less admin I'd be happier! I've sold quite a few pairs of 352's over the years, the cara's were a bit before my time though.ORIGINAL: ukmastiff Blimey Peter I had no idea you did that . I used to be into audio when much younger ( not now though) and have owned a few pairs of speakers you will remember . Kef Cara's , some Celef and some Monitor Audio R352. Your shop display looks stunning and a very pleasent way to earn a living I'm sure. Regards Mas
I do some quite affordable stuff which isn't on the website (a system without speakers from £230 for example) but the economy seems to have killed off the budget end at the moment. I normally park the 944S out of town and walk in, it's cheaper and gets me some exercise but it's occasionaly outside the shop. You're always welcome to pop in for a cuppa, chatting about 944's makes a nice change from my daily routine. There was a pretty decent covering of snow this morning on the Chiterns, let's hope it improves by tomorrow (what's it like up North at the moment?). Can't say the 888's and snow are a terribly clever mix.ORIGINAL: Porka944s Peter, i know your shop i live about a 5 minute walk from it, unfortunately all your gear is well out of my price range its all well nice stuff! i think i have seen you s parked outside before? This should be a nice meet i just hope i have time to clean it up now!
Yup A1M is the way to go, may well spot you at some point along it after Huntingdon.ORIGINAL: pauljmcnulty Looking at my sat-nav it's telling me to go up the A1M rather than the M1. Is this right?
Oh no, Oli will be unbearable now! [8|][ORIGINAL: MarkK Just got back, lovely to see all the cars and folks at Rutland water (bit cold glad i brought my coat!!!),did something new today drove an S2 for twenty odd miles courtesy of Mr Smith,Ollie might be right with his devotion to S2s,Really grunty, yet smooth and you drive it in 1 gear higher all the time, for a long trip it would be absoloutley perfect, really really liked it.I get it now Ollie!!Some really nice cars there like Nicks old red car, white cab with black wheels,Mr Empsons Superlight (his bonnet is really really light[])and Bennys black car on its very cool wheels, a few nice luxes.Unfortunately the pub looked overwhelmed so i whipped home for a bite, was sad about that but it is sunday after all thats their busiest day.Hope everyone else had a good time and got home without any incidents. Thanks for organising it Mike good job.Look forward to next one[
