ORIGINAL: ukmastiff Blimey Peter I had no idea you did that . I used to be into audio when much younger ( not now though) and have owned a few pairs of speakers you will remember . Kef Cara's , some Celef and some Monitor Audio R352. Your shop display looks stunning and a very pleasent way to earn a living I'm sure. Regards Mas
Cheers Mas, it's a lot of fun some days, if there was a little less admin I'd be happier! I've sold quite a few pairs of 352's over the years, the cara's were a bit before my time though.

I do some quite affordable stuff which isn't on the website (a system without speakers from £230 for example) but the economy seems to have killed off the budget end at the moment. I normally park the 944S out of town and walk in, it's cheaper and gets me some exercise but it's occasionaly outside the shop. You're always welcome to pop in for a cuppa, chatting about 944's makes a nice change from my daily routine. There was a pretty decent covering of snow this morning on the Chiterns, let's hope it improves by tomorrow (what's it like up North at the moment?). Can't say the 888's and snow are a terribly clever mix.

Looking at my sat-nav it's telling me to go up the A1M rather than the M1. Is this right? Does anyone want to meet for a coffee at one of the services on the way? Either South Mimms for the A1M, or on the M1 anywhere north of Hemel.

I'm near Northampton, we had a dusting of snow but its great now just watch out for the odd patch of ice in the morning, as I gather it'll be another cold night!

Sadly I have to go M11 from Stanstead then join the A1(M) around Huntingdon so I dont think anyone will be coming my way for most of it. Hopefully I will find a 944 to tuck in with for the last bit of the journey but I'll be driving most if not all of the way on my tod. Mrs Mas and kids will be at home in the warm [8D]

Im about 25 miles due west of rutland cold night no snow glorious morning Want the same for tomorrow , forcast is ok Washed the cars yesterday pm - oops - ice over the road tjis morning! Mike Edit - yes A1(M) takes you to 5 miles or so

Hi Paul, Yes i could squeeze them in the 944 but need a small coach for their other guests. Cheers- have a great meet up. Ron

Yup A1M is the way to go, may well spot you at some point along it after Huntingdon.

You should have stayed, they sorted us out in a few minutes. Amazing how they fitted in about 18 extras to a full-looking pub. Cracking food as well. [8D] Thanks to everyone who turned out, and John and Mike for suggesting it and doing the recce.

I had a very enjoyable few hours which included seeing the variety of cars as well as meeting a very nice group of people. I would like to apologise in advance as I'm about to forget the names of just about everybody I met , I should remember any story you told me word for word though which will prove I was paying attention. Regards Mas
