OK guys I surrender, suffice to say that IF the role became vacant I would gladly take on the challenge.

In the spirit of the 'Oscars' I'd like to thank all the above posters for volunteering to be deputies [:D]

(I already have a "Best Supporting Actress' lined up, Ed knows !!!)
Thank you Nick for agreeing to take on this role for the region, IF it becomes available! This could be a real opportunity to rejuvenate the London region. The big question then is IF the role becomes available? Previously one of the concerns re an RO change was that there was no one else put forward to take on this challenge, however this now appears to be sorted. And I'm sure you'll get any support you need with all regional activities.

So what next?

More feedback from members encouraged here, either supporting or not supporting a change? A poll on here perhaps? Don't know how they work but someone in the know will be along I'm sure....

Think the support for Nick is pretty robust here .... What next an EGM, vote of no confidence or will it continue to languish away ... no Regional Editorial this month ... The Main Board is a seriously challenging position at the present, would think it's a no-Brainer ... London must be far the largest and most prestigious Region (sorry other Regions[;)])... We host The Olympic Games in less than a year ... JC sure a poll could be initiated but would the result count?

I believe the Regional Director is Paul Seagrave and I suggest that dialogue with him is the way forward.
This is a domestic issue and should not cloud the waters at the EGM I believe, however it is a very serious matter to R20 active members and it should be noted that a resolution is demanded without any compromise or prevarication.
There are a number of options.
1 The preferred option is the decent and honourable one albeit somewhat late in the day.
2 The Regional Director takes action and imposes change in accordance with members wishes.
3 The region institutes a new structure unilaterally.
Patently 1 is ideal and 3 is not.
JC

Unfortunately option 1 is wishful thinking, but I do know a couple of "Fixer's" aka Pulp Fiction styli that owe me a favour or two..............lol

I tried being reasonable, I didn't like it, so go ahead make my day!.

I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well to tell you the truth in all this excitement I've kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum - the most powerful hand gun in the world and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question--Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk!

For those expecting an imminent change at the top, the current incumbent of the post wont budge, indeed there are allegedly 3 helpers about to be announced (No, I am not one of them).
