Novice Track Evening Brands is Back 20th May!

Well done chaps keep them coming. It should certainly be an excellent evening. Regrettably, I have done too many laps around Brands to qualify as a novice but hope to come along to take a few snaps.

Great work Jon Grindall .... keep it up .............. Don't forget Cup Car Rides! Melv will be stationed down at the end garage on the pit lane near the control tower, try and arrange your ride with Melv during one of your rest sessions here is a picture of his cup car .....

ORIGINAL: jon grindall An update on applications RECEIVED as of this morning (Friday) is as follows: A Brown D Hall P Jackson B Hill M Travis S Atwell J Grindall J Retter C Valentine D Clare D Potter A Rankin P Flower. I'll update the original list shortly (need to square some names with forum names). I know there are several other "cheques in the post" which won't have registered yet, and several "committed but can't seem to lay hands on chequebook" So far, though, that's about one third all paid up - and counting! Regards all Jon
Be great to see the list of cars besides the names.....[:D]

There seems to be a couple of names on that list that might have done a track day or two...if thats the case[8|]

Well done guys and gals ...... just thinking of the after session debriefing should we: 1. Go to local Pub 2. Curry Bromley 3. Party Rave at the Circuit in the Club Motorsport Wagon Any other suggestions....

ORIGINAL: cherrington You guys seem to place little value on your skulls !!
If I hit my head, I'll miss my brain by about three feet. Seriously, this event is likely to be a one-off for me so forking out on a proper lid would be an extravagance.

The club brings spare helmets to trackdays which are fine. Best get one early, nothing worse than faffing about trying on helmets when the nerves kick in. Actually its all academic if you decide in advance not to hit anything. JC

Have now sorted my track day insurance (thanks to Steve K) so will send the form and the cheque early next week. Surinder

Well done Surinder. I have to confess I haven't sorted out my insurance yet. Can you recommend? Incidentally, went to Brands on Wednesday to get a noise test - a bit worried about the new sports exhaust - but came in at 101dB at just over 5krpm, and was told by the tester that was OK. So if that worry is holding anyone back, don't let it. Go for the chequebook now! Jon
