What a brilliant day. Perfect weather and a great crowd. Was my first time at Oulton and felt very welcome. Mel...thanks for the laps. Superb car and beautifully handled. My little 2.7 had a blast. I will be back!

Brilliant day, possibly the best I've been to yet. Couldn't really have asked for better weather.

Many thanks to Kasbridge (Kevin you must not sell!), 964RS (Paul) and Oldtimer (John) for the '64RS rides and Rikki and Gordon for the GT3 rides. Thanks to all the drivers for putting on a brilliant show and Melv for continuing to make this one of THE events of the year for Porsche owners/lovers. Roll on next year [:)]

If you weren't there you will never understand......

What a phenomenal day! Incredible weather, blue skies and sun all day and the track was bone dry even at 9am! Fantastic array of cars and brilliant levels of driving and ettiquette and superb company with some great people.

The rest of the year has got some way to go to beat today....in fact I'm not sure it will be possible. Best track in the UK, bone dry and just so much time and space...virtually no hold ups and only a couple of red flags all day.

If I hadn't of got a place i'd have gone to spectate anyway...but you've no idea how glad I am that I did (cheers Sundeep).

Exhausted.......will load pics later!

Oh and I may have found a Toyo 888 alternative......I followed Graham Howells around for a few laps in his 993RS and his car was sticking like glue - had the sharpest turn ins of any I saw all day (bar maybe Mel on his slicks) and found out he was on the Dunlop D01J replacements...02G's I think....certainly going to have a look at them and Graham was raving about them.

Not enough time for many pics - had to be out on track. Thanks again to ChrisW, Tim Arnold, Steve Brookes and especially Stuart MR968!
