Poole Quay 2009 - Register BBQ 22-23 May

ORIGINAL: Alex L

Count me and Nicky in for the 23rd.

Doubt we can take the Friday off for the Quay event though.

Alex, the event does go on into the evening, so more than welcome to join the group

Sadly Mrs MarcBC has zero interest in cars and so it will be just me.

Marc, The Saturday won't be that much about the cars, more to do with beautiful places and people [;)]

In that case I might not come [;)]

Well Nicky and I finish work until after 9pm on a Friday normally. So rushing about after work is unlikely.

Would love to have come if it were on a Sat evening.

The main post has been updated, with details of the Hotel and Charity BBQ

We hope to see lots of members support the Poole Quay event and Saturday drive and dine

Start of the new year and just a gentle reminder about this event (not that the snow ever makes you feel like going out [:(])
The Hotel rooms are only reserved until the end of January where they will be released.
The event will (should) be in this months PP register column and notify the full membership.

It would be great to have a good line up of 997s on the Friday and a great event for those down in the deepest South to catch up without having to drive.

We have to drive North (and East) to get to Poole! No snow, though[:)]

Lancerlot + 1. Hotel booked for Friday & Sat. nights but they didn't seem to know much about the 997 Reg block booking! [:(] [8|]

Clive

They did when I booked a few weeks back, Clive. Must have got the trainee receptionist! I like the new avatar, btw, a distinct improvement[;)]

Aahaa - so you're an ankle man, then!

Enjoy while you can. The guy with the red pencil will be round again shortly, I have no doubt. [][&:]
Regards,
Clive

Oh ankle, calf, thigh, you know, can't be too choosy any more[;)] Think you will still have the GT2 in May then?

Indeed I would love to. Sadly the next immediate event would be Mrs Captain removing my appendages and feeding them to our canines.[&:] So I, for one, will have to dream on......[:(]

You need to get promoting another Mrs. Captain - life's too short for such vicissitudes! [] :ROFLMAO:

Clive

Well I fear life would be even shorter if I did![&:] Anyhow, there would be the small matter of finding another £60k ish to blow on a car........Perhaps I need to go back to work? Nah, don't fancy that either.[:'(]

I've spoken to the Hotel and we do still have rooms available under our block booking, Speaking to Emily she was fully aware of the Porsche bookings.
Plenty of time as yet but great if we can get a good turnout for both days.

Friday is the Poole Quay meet
Saturday is the drive and charity BBQ

Emily will take a £50 non-refundable deposit off you - but she will do it very nicely! [;)]
