Porsche Spotting

Nice red 944 Turbo reg CPD XX traveling past Thornfalcon towards Ilminster on the A358 at 5.15pm tonight

Never got a chance to open her up due to some old f*** blocking the fast lane []

Saw on Sunday a very red B reg 944 Lux just outside Shalford and then only 2 minutes later a gold 944 Lux leaving Bramley. I flashed and waved and got no response from either....oh well.[:(]

I think I have seen you and waved before, you were going towards Worplesdon - me - '84 944Lux with black cookie cutters - which have now been given a new lease of life by Wicked Wheels on the slyfield estate.

That was me. Fabulous, although I must keep my eye on this thread more often.

Today a tidy F reg 944 Lux with cookie cutters on the ramps at Northway, and then a white 997 Gen 2 Carrera with the reg "A 911" on the A4, although this was clearly a Porsche UK car as I was about 3 miles away from their HQ...

Going on to the M2 outside Toomebridge on Wed eve about 5:45 spotted a silver/gold (it was dark[:D]) 944 S2 MEZ **** stuck in traffic on the other carraigeway.

...today, 2 boxsters in North Swindon and a red 911 in West Swindon (ooo and about a week back, nice 944 in black in North Swindon too, was gonna wave on the off chance might be someone from here but i was driving what we call 'the bus' - Renault Espace, so i tend to duck a lot so no one sees me!) [:D]

White 944 on a drive by (presumably) it's owners house in congleton yesterday. 1st 944 I've seen since buying mine in early December!

Saw a nice dark metallic grey 928 this morning, 08:25 in Forest Drive, Lytham just as I opened the curtains. It looked to be in great condition - and judging by the spoiler it was possibly a GTS.

Seen a rare 944 turbo cab (reg F768 ???) today on the way to a meeting. Just couldn't resist to park next to it and take a picture.

One more ...

[FONT=Arial"][FONT=verdana, geneva"]I past the turbo this morning at the A4/A329 junction and the saw it parked as photographed in the afternoon (I did not notice the white cab though). Saw a red 968 at Burpham roundabout last Saturday 31/1 - if that counts?

Tony,

My white cab was parked there between 1-3pm. That part of the clearway is the traffic warden haven as most people didn't realise that the valid time is between 9:30am and 3:30pm. I moved my cab to the company car park before 3:30pm and I think the turbo cab was still on the same spot (!!!) still when I left at 5pm. Hope he got lucky this time.

Spotted a nice red 944 in Thetford at about 5.15pm. I think its the one I keep seeing all the time a 2.7 944.

I spotted what looked like an S2 being attached by a fixed bar to a blue Ford Transit, on the A41 near Hemel Hempsted heading towards Aylesbury.

Apart from the fact that it looked like it had broken down (very rare and unusual for a 944), it was also painted in a chromoflair paint which flipped from green to purple to brown.

If it was someone on here then I was the one in the black Range Rover Sport that gave you a toot!

C-reg silver Lux at the Old Ford Interchange from the A12 into Bow ... this morning, around 8.20am.

Anyone here? I was in the baltic blue S2 joining the A12 going north.

Oli.
