Porsche Spotting

And finally:

Minder3.jpg

Anyone know who it belongs to?

It's been a bumper week for 944 spotting. So while my own S2 was parked up in the Guildford OPC another black S2 went past, circa 11am, Saturday morning.

Then seen a French registered LHD 944 Turbo in Silver Rose on the A339 between Newbury and Basingstoke on Monday, 8.00am approx.

Then today, same time, same road an H reg S2/Turbo in that lovely silver that looks a little bit blue.

And finally, leaving the work car park a green C reg 944 Lux, which I know is a daily driver for a lady at work, although I have no idea who she is.

Saw a nice C plate with Teledials in a lay-by between Bicester and Banbury on the A421 on Saturday afternoon at about 4pm ish. The end three digits were something like CUC or similar.

Anyone on here?

She is obviously one very classy woman and you should be taking great steps to introduce yourself [;)]

Very good [:D] I will try my best Paul.

Meanwhile another 944 this morning 1991 on a J plate , J944 *** in silver blue again heading east on the M3 with what looked like xenon lights. Now surely somebody knows who that is.

I saw a Carera GT(2?) the other week (meant to mention it then but got side tracked. In Kidsgrove (Stoke on Trent). The wierd thing was it's number plate. "the goose" no numbers all letters. I'm sure that can't be legal can it?

Old but fairly tidy-looking 924 has shown up in the car park at my current client. Looks like someone's daily driver. Reg PCS123X. Don't suppose the owner is on a 944 forum, but come and say hello if you are (mine is the Baltic Blue 944.)

Oli.

An exceptional looking Guards Red S2, J plate but private number, bridge spoiler at the Goole Services Shell station East Ridings of Yorkshire this evening at about 8pm.

The paintwork looked brand new, it really did appear to be a time warp car.

A nice red 'S' parked outside MOD Ensleigh in Bath today. The driver's mirror was folded and pointing upward. I didn't know that the 944 mirrors can be folded like that.

Spotted a Red Cabriolet in Lytham - it's often parked there, and I've mentioned it before, but tonight was a bit special. I went past in my Blue Cabriolet, then 3 cars further down a 964 was parked, opposite that, a Boxster, then two cars further along was a Red 944 Coupe. So, 5 Porsches in a 50 yard stretch of road. More common than Ford Mondeos!

Caught a glimpse of a black S2 not far from my house in chelmsford . Reg started g318 i think . First 944 i have seem since getting my own a month ago .

Spotted a French 944 in Alpe D'Huez a few weeks ago. Who say's you need to keep your 944 off the streets when it snows!

Saw two 944s this weekend. Dark blue one on the A417 heading towards Leominster today (sat). and another dark blue (i think) heading east out of Llangollen on friday.

Really wish i had been in mine at the time ;)

Friday night, A27 to Brighton, red Turbo with reg G***NOW

This morning, A339 just before Jnc 6 of the M3, a maritime blue S2.

As usual, I was in the daily driver and not the 944. That will change tomorrow whereupon I will no doubt see no 944s at all. Maybe I should just flash the Boxster drivers to see what they make of it. [;)]

Black S2 or turbo heading in towards Manchester around 9.30 yesterday Tues 24th,
on the M62.

Looked nice[:D]

after months of boxsters and watercooled 911s (yawn) finally saw a 944; G reg i think in a dark metallic grey or possible blue, Glasgow city centre about 5pm yesterday (thurs) I was on foot at the time and it was quite far away.
