Porsche Spotting

Spotted a nice white S2 coupe (F816 ...) in Slough today. Its not that often that you drive side-by-side with a fellow 944er with the same colour and model. This guy even has a PCGB sticker on the windscreen like mine. I initially waved and even lowered my window and waved to the guy but with no reply [&:]. Before we departed at the aroundabout, there was a DB7 in the middle land between us. Guess what, the S2 looks much better than DB7 [:)]

ORIGINAL: Diver944

There can't be that many black cabs in London :ROFLMAO: so it could have been our very own Hubert in his black Turbo Cab. Without giving his personal plate away it begins with H and is very close to his name so have a close look next time.
I think it is an H-plate actually. Spanking condition of car as well. Maybe mine is always dirty, and a mere lowly S2 tin-top, therefore he feels it is beneath him to wave at it ...

I'll see if I can get the full reg next time I see it.

Strangely I have seen loads of 944's recently, all NA's. Black one at work in Yeovil, nice red one with boxster S alloys in Weymouth, another red one the other day, white one with PCGB shield on the license plate and fox sticker next to the 944 badge and a Peavey amp in the boot spotted in Yeovil today.

Dark purple / blue 968 spotted in Lytham at about 14:00 on Thursday15th, just by the Hansom Cab. (Dark Blue Mr Sim, not Doom Blue[;)])

Hi

Just spotted a C plate Lux in Red on the back of a vehicle transporter going south on the M6 by the M58 turn off.

Had D90 wheels and a turbo rear under spoiler.

Looked like it had been having the rear stone guard sections rubbed down for repainting.

Anyone's???[:D]

George,

There is a red 44 cab that lives in Lytham, last time I saw it, it was lacking in polish. It is still a nice car though and used everyday.

Saw a dark red 944 on Friday going down Alphington Road in Exeter pointed it out to my mum but didn't wave as I was walking and the bloke driving it probably wouldn't of even taken any notice.

Saw very nice 928s in light greenish colour, coming off the a38 near South Brent. (left break light is out if you see this!)

Followed (with one car between - a Puma determined to be an *ssh*l*) a Blue S2 into Westbury from Warminster Saturday afternoon. G reg, I was in my Black S2...

Regards,

Tref.

On the North/West M60 yesterday in my 944S2. I was overtaken by a gold coloured 924. A left hooker, registered in Madrid, Spain. No signs of rust!

South Somerset ,White 924 coming from Somerton this afternoon about 3pm ? flashed but he didn't wave. Probably didn't have time. ( In my blue 944S2)

black 944 seen in Bude in Cornwall last week looked a minter also a black 944 turbo and a grey / blue 944 near Bideford Devon on the A39 all in the last ten days
