Porsche Spotting

Blue S2 heading north up M5 Saturday morning, waves exchanged; and this morning, about 8:50am, gold F plate '44 with a toast-rack spoiler on the Lower Luton Road heading north, again, waves exchanged.

I am pretty sure that I saw craiginuk today. IIRC does he not own an '86 Turbo in Black on 16" Cup 1 s with the plate 'D*** BCF? I saw the car at Butler's Leap traffic lights in Rugby :).

I have also seen a white S2 with the plate MAZ 7*** in Rugby as well. It does not seem to come up on databases and judging by the slightly scruffy front wing I guess it needs a little work to come back onto the road (that and the fact that it seems not to have moved from the drive for quite a while). It does look very tidy overall though.

Two Blue 944s today... Or was it the same car?? About 10:10 this morning waves exchanged whilst passing Kingston Lacy, and then again, one followed me into Ivy Cross roundabout in Shaftesbury before heading up the A350 as I went down the A30 at about 14:40.

No Porsches, but had an Audi A3 pull alongside on the A3 near Petersfield. Gave me a wave of acknowledgement which was cool. Also went to a Primary school and parked up, the youngers kids loved it. Not many of them I guess had seen a 944, they do generate some interest.

Absolute cretin in a Boxster showered me with gravel whilst he was playing street racing with a Z4 on the A30 between Salisbury and Middle Wallop. If you're on here, thanks a bunch you idiot. []

Lovely looking red C reg coupe heading North on the A1 at Welwyn around 10:45 this morning. I was going the other way (BMW) so couldn't get more detail but the paintwork looked nice and it stood out beautifully amongst the silver, white grey and dirty traffic.

Cheers
Mick

White 944 (with A prefix number) in Woolbrook, Sidmouth, managed to wave before he passed (wave reciprocated)

Grey F plate lux in Hardgate this morning. Have seen it a few times before and exchanged waves previously. Looks tidy.

I was waved at by a bloke in a yellow 996 turbo near junction 35a on the M1 on Sunday while out in the 944. Hopefully my response of dropping my sausage roll in sheer surprise came across vaguely as a wave back!

968 Blue cabriolet , Loudwater area High Wycombe.
Parked in a driveway undergoing repair by the looks of it, another classic on drive, possibly a Triumph Herald

Loads today at Rutland[8|]

Red Lux/square dash at start of the film The Parole Officer, on ITV4 now. Anyone's car on here? (Assuming they had one to drive and one to trash and burn!)

Couldn't shake a black one and a white one of my tail last Sunday - they hung on for 30 odd miles! :)

Also saw a Titanium coupe heading north on the A43 near Silverstone early this morning - I was in the company car and heading in the other direction as usual.
