Porsche Spotting

Friday 13th at around 06:30am. 944 on the A331 heading towards the Hogs Back. I was in the Golf heading for Goodwood.

I saw a lady driving a Lux in Leamington Spa, parking it up at the Leamington 100 show (I forgot all about it this year!). It looks in good order with some sill covers fitted in addition to 'System Porsche' stickers down the side of the front wings just under the side repeators (Think Seat Ibiza from the 80s which had the same decals). It was a private place of sorts gracing the car (HUI ****).

I have never mentioned this car before, but there is a lovely white 968 that graces the road near the Spa Centre. I barely see it move mind you!

G reg grey S2 at Popham services on A303 this evening. Went over to chat to the owner as it had a PCGB sticker on the windscreen, but he said it was an old sticker and that therefore he was not on this forum. Nice chap, nice car.

Nice looking red cab at Ganstead roundabout going into Hull this tea time. Exchanged waves. Don't see many out my way, anyone on here?

About 10, 11 am this morning, a black cab (no, a 944, not the London ones) parked in the viewing point at the top of Spread Eagle hill between Shaftesbury and Blandford... Afraid I was passed before I saw it, and didn't really have time to stop and admire the car or the view.

Followed a ?turquoise s2 this am in the lashing rain upto seacroft, reg g::1 aud or similar. Think I've seen it a couple of times around Leeds, this was the first time when I've been in my car.

Spotteda red 944 driving down the A31 today at about 1020heading towards southampton, dont know if it was a lux/s2/turbo or not as was on other side of the carriage way. Did wave but dont think he saw me or he ignored me like every other prosche owner this weekend.

Nice white c reg 944 near Largs today!
I once got arrested in Largs ( not my fault I might add)

I got roaring, falling down, drunk for the first time in Largs. I was 10 and at a youth camp. I've never been able to look cider in the face since. [8D]

Very welcome over to North Lincolnshire for a hoon on uncluttered roads on sunny days... there are couple of us over here who love a good drive, followed by a nice country refresher.

Black 944S2 going towards Maindenhead on the A 3095, just coming into the Braywick roundabout. I was I the 996t going towards Bracknell; gave you a wave but you probably weren't looking for one from a 911 driver.

Yesterday on the A143 heading towards Diss A white 944 with a toast rack on a trailer being towed by a pick up. It looked very clean, recent resto maybe?

Not a 944 but wow"¦

on the R20 tour of OPC Reading - they've got 14 Carrera GTs and a GT1 stored there for customers!!! amazing...

Sunday night, Harpenden road out of St Albans, I guess around 10pm, a light silvery blue (I think) 944 cab heading into the town... I was on the way out in my S2, but only really recognised it as a '44 as it passed (it was dark, that is my excuse!)

Lovely looking metallic S2 coupe on the A1 Southbound -just turned onto the A14 before I fought up with it. Looked a peach of a car from the quick glance I got.
