Porsche Spotting

Yep, I know the one you mean - I kept meaning to knock on the door, but now don't travel that way...

Spotted on M6 just after Gretna today. A 'mature' lady driver sitting at about 75mph

Reg Number is PJI 7223 and it had a German D on the left of the plate but was a RHD car?

Martin, Northern Ireland number plate was she possibly headed to Stranraer for the ferry ? what was the name of the Eddie truck ?

Nice looking black S2 at the Junction of the M4 and A46 just heading off theroundabout towards Bath. As always in these situations I was in my oil powered work car so no chance for a friendly wave.

I saw a 968 on the A3 heading towards hindhead last night and a 944 S2 or Turbo at the Meadows Tesco in Sandhurst. Both looked smart! [:)]

Pale blue 944 Spotted in Marlow, just turning off Little Marlow Road into Maple Rise or so it appeared. About three forty-five this after noon. Must have though it wierd to get the thumbs up from a tatty Citroen Ax gti, but I was taking some rubbish to the recycling centre.

3:30PM today had me notice a 1990 944 S2 cabrio in white and 17" wheels go past me in Rugby (on the Leicester Road heading towards M6 Jct 1. It looked and sounded good I must say :).

Like many I was in the work bus.

Finally spotted the red lux today that everyone keeps thinking is my car in Tuckingmill Camborne if anyone knows of another red lux in Cornwall? I was in a work car so didnt flash or wave.

Smiles and nods from a Boxster driver and passenger at Watford Sainsburys petrol station Thursday evening... So I told them about the Ace Cafe on Monday... Here's hoping another recruit!

Had a double take coming out of work last week, walking from hospital to car park at home time, see my car driving towards me, Sh1t some git is stealing my car, then spots its a women, good grief, then that its not a 44 but a 24 the same colour and similar reg, Mine SXI 9442 hers VIL9249 ok so not so similar but when you think your watching your pride and joy being lifted it was a heart stopping moment. Luckily didn't run after it. Would have looked mega stupid [:-]

I went on a MG Car Club run in North Yorkshire on Sunday. If anybody is up that way I can really recommend the Butter-tubs pass!! Amazing strip of tarmac!

Anyway, as part of the rout we went past the Aysgarth falls. We missed the car park but ended up parking a little further down the road at an abandoned station that a group of folks are attempting to renovate. I was astounded to see this in one of the sheds:

It looked in pretty bad state and very sad to see.

Apparently the owner is a very wealthy man in his 70's and it just sits there. []

Sills are completely gone...but I'd love to have been given the opportunity to have really good look over the car though. If any one is interested I did get a contact number for somebody at the site who said they knew the owner well. You'd have to have more money than sense though! [:D]

Spotted this immaculate 924S in Edinburgh today, pics are from my motorbike headcam so not great but I pulled alongside and told the driver how I wished my 944 looked as good as that and he asked if I wished it had only 34,000 miles on the clock too!
