What an amazing day! A big thank you to Andy for organising the event - it's an impressive effort to do this every year, especially when you have to deal with some people changing their minds about having lunch. Twice. [&:] It was great to see all of you guys again. I'll try to make more of an effort to be involved in the other events now that the car is running properly(ish) again. Anya enjoyed the trip out too. She loved meeting all of you - and the ducks. I didn't take many pics of the cars (I had my hands full..) but I think this shot sums up our family day out quite nicely...

Great excuse to get the car out of storage. 450 mile round trip, so that's 45% of my annual 944 mileage done in one day! Thanks for organising this Andy. The 22 car convoy was indeed memorable.

Just to add my thanks to all involved in organising it for a great day... We were discussing when there was last such a gathering of 944s, and concluded it must be something like five or more years. Great to see them all in such numbers again.

Great day - great cars - great weather - great venue. Well done Andy for organising it all. Nice to catch up and meet some new faces. See you at Rutland next year. [:D]

A fantastic day - Started with the excellent South Mimms convoy and just got better and better [:)] Also really good to put some faces to various forum names. A huge thanks from myself and Jo to Andy and Lin for organising the whole thing. I think it was the "infamous" Ragley Hall meet the last time we had so many 944's together and certainly never seen such a big convoy as yesterdays.

As ever, many thanks for organising everything Andy - another fabulous Rutland meet and great to catch up with new friends and old!

Brilliant event - just a shame there wasn't enough time to catch up with everyone and to have a good look at all the cars. I thought they looked all great though

My pics of a great day. 944 heaven! First couple are early arrivals at Peterborough Services. Enjoy............ https://flic.kr/s/aHsk8W5BPS -------------------------------------

Many thanks to Andy and the team for the hard work organising the event. What a great day out. I really enjoyed meeting such interesting and amusing fellow owners. Thanks to you all. Bob Falkner

Many thanks to Andy for organising- a fabulous morning out. The car felt more alive after about 250 miles all under speed limit of course. A really great turnout of all varieties of 944. Nice to put some faces to profiles. Roll on 50 plus at next Rutland. Cheers all Ron

Lovely photos, Kev! Thanks for sharing them.

I've sometimes struggled to appreciate the looks of the early cars but AUD986Y looks really really nice. The black centres on the cookie cutters, the script down the flanks and the stance all work perfectly together to make a really sweet looking car. Love it!
