Rutland 2015 - THE 944 meet

ORIGINAL: Monkeythree I've sometimes struggled to appreciate the looks of the early cars but AUD986Y looks really really nice. The black centres on the cookie cutters, the script down the flanks and the stance all work perfectly together to make a really sweet looking car. Love it!
Agreed, it's a very nice looking example.

Lovely photos, Kev! Thanks for sharing them.
Thanks Glenn, For those of us that didn't get the chance to attend (or use facebook) seeing pictures on the forum is the next best thing. Also the Porsche script along the sides is really starting to grow on me.

Some more pictures from a lovely day. Some are mine and some were taken by my daughter! - [link=http://s787.photobucket.com/user/A9XXC/library/944s%20At%20Rutland%202015?sort=4&page=1]Here[/link]

WUF is still out there [;)].

Cool, good to hear![:)]I saw it at the Dartford crossing a few years back 2010 after Rick had sold it and I sold my spare LR super 75 to the owner a while after, not heard anything else since, hope she fell into good hands -anyone know anything? There were a handful of cars running what was considered big power at the time, but they all seemed to go quiet, was a fun era if a bit expensive,A casualty or two along the way[&o]

I considered WUF when Ben had it for sale but I thought it was a little tired mechanically, it would have been the ideal time to convert it to a 2.8 or 3.0 I thought. A guy from Yorkshire bought it and still owns it.
