Something i have been working on!

God that looks good fun! How did she feel and compare to other machinery on the track? Did you feel confident in her abilities? I imagine she's quite a hard car to pass.

Foldable neat and tidy towing eye:ROFLMAO:(from a well known frontrunning Porsche specialist shop)....
Anyway moving on to the good stuff!! The car ran Brill[:)]- caned the living pants off it in the afternoon after a wet and greasy start,it feels SO light and flickable,Alex(from EMC) fiddled with the suspension canisters a little bit and made it less twitchy putting the power down out of the bends, it feels COMPLETELY different to any 944/968 roadcar i have ever driven it changes direction so easily and you can brake really late into the bends and it just slows so quickly, the car feels quicker off boost(and on boost!)but the transition between the two is less defined??Took spare oil with me checked it 3 or 4 times and i didn't need topping up...!?Most enjoyable trackday i have had for a while, lots of freindly faces and Mr Follet let me share his garage(i promise i will get my own tyre pressure gauge paul!)Good day all round.

Paul S-sorry you couldn't come, hoping to go in March?
Ed-Sunshine yesterday!?Not fair!
Ben-I Did get passed quite a bit, i was a bit nervy in the morning, but by the end of the day picked up a bit[8D]Alot to be learned but everyone starts somewhere! She felt pretty bulletproof(i have jinxed myself now i bet[:D])

Blimey, that car does look light on its feet, and certainly looks like it is being enjoyed. Look forward to taking a butcher's at the car and results it lays down :).

I watched from various places around the track - Mark - it looked great!
Sounded brilliant too!
Will try to post some pics and vid tomorrow, but the howl is suberb!
I was suprised how quick / quiet / smoothe all the 968s were - and I've been in one round Donnington.
Mark, Paul Steve and EMC - done Cd will post tomorrow.

Great Piccys, really nice angles! Was a really fun relaxed day, every now and then there is a really nice trackday where it goes really smoothly and everyone enjoys themselves...the one a few years ago with the 944 register at Snetterton, the Silverstone evening last year, really hope there is another register one this summer anyone off the register wanting a couple of passenger laps to see how the blue car goes is more than welcome.Massive register trackday/evening then this spring/summer then tea at a pub afterwards???

Excellent if its end of may onwards I'm hoping very much to be attending in a real 944 for once.. otherwise its the borrowed automatic polo again and I'm not sure that cuts the mustard[;)]

Just opened a brown envelope with two discs in,one has a load of pics from Silverstone and the other a mini movie of clips of the day on DVD,Mike (A9XXC) you are very kind, THANK YOU very much for going to the effort of taking all these and posting them..!
[:)]very very much appreciated!

EMC and Steve with the yellow 986 should have one too!
Would like to find the owners of the blue 968 and the black 911S too
Mike

Good to hear your first outing went so well Mark. Hope that continues for the life of the car. Downtime is draining.
Can someone upload some of the video to Youtube or the like. Be nice to see and hear the Blue Meanie!

I have tried to get a little clip onto Photobucket but it gets to 60% and siezed the computer 3 times!
Will keep trying.
