Something i have been working on!

It's special lightweight filler ,the yellow sticker is a copy scanned onto tissue paper!![:D]

Badge is surprisingly heavy, not that heavy that I would be bothered about it but it has some heft to it nonetheless. Sticker rather then metal badge is a Porsche tradition on race cars.

Coming a long very nicely Mark, we must all get out on an early spring shakedown track day. A bit like the day at Bedford a couple of years back many attended.

Thanks Neil,Would love to do that!Next sticker on the list is a sun banner strip thing for the windscreen i would love one of Mr Cannel's White with Black Porsche script..It will look cool and motorsporty but will stop sun getting in eyes as i dont have visors anymore.

That reminds me, I will have to find out what they do for Future Classics, hold fire Mark as in the PCGB Championship they all run a banner strip for a series sponsor. I have a feeling that they don't in Future Classics but I would check first. Kev was telling me they had 34 cars on the grid last time out at a FC race and almost 1/2, Porsches. This is going to be good.

Its painted, what do you think of the colour????

That looks like EMCs doorway lift. How much did the paint cost? Their bodyshop have seemed quite cheap in the past.

Mark,

Speaking frankly mate, It looks awful. Terrible. Blue? BLUE? I mean, who chooses blue for a car? It's flat, it's dull, it's boring, it looks like an extra from Playschool (or Playbus whatever it's called these days) and it's slow. Everyone knows that red/black/Zermatt (not-)Silver ones are quicker. Blue ones are just ... well, blue. Even pink ones are better. And as for the lack of a badge on the front - it looks like a bastardised child who is ashamed of it's heritage. What do you think you are doing?

Nothing else for it. Send it back to be resprayed. 'Tis the only thing for it.

(Or, in all seriousness, it looks very good indeed! What is the colour? Hope it looks as good in the flesh as it does in the photo ... )

That looks gorgeous there Mark! You'll have to show me that when it's finished. Looks stunning in Maritime Blue. A shame the car wasn't there when I popped in last Thursday for the cambelt check, but ah well :).

Its really going to be loud in there!
Those door cards are a work of art.
Are the electric windows still there - cant you dump them!
