Something i have been working on!

Looks really nice Mark. Love the mean stance and black wheels. I look forward to your account of driving it, especially as you say with all the extra added lightness and rigidity. I think that will make it feel sooo much more alive. Keep up the posts. [;)]

[:D] Nice one mark. great minds think alike, I've got some of those aero latches waiting to go onto my car over the winter (I think they'll probably be painted body colour, but we'll see).
I'm going off the idea of stripped out cars btw [;)] as mine is outside at the moment every time I take it for a drive the condensation rains off the roof and down my neck...

Looks good, is this the 'road' or 'race' version? I had something similar and tried fitting it, but really messed it up and just took it off in the end. Would I be better off using hot soapy water to get a better finish? Did you have to trim around the edges?

Thanks!Cannot wait to pop over to Birmingham to pick the car up,we are just waiting for some seat runners from Cobra to arrive then to get the car MOT'd,then i can bring the car home (unless its snowing![&:]) and see what it feels like to drive after all EMC's hard work, will be bringing the car to Rutland in Jan if anyone wants to see it.
ETA Ben i didn't fit the Sunstrip (race version)Alex at EMC fitted it, pretty sure he would have trimmed it, and reckon he fitted it dry,i will ask him next time i see him if you like.

Mmm, enamel badge? Splitter? I give up, assuming i've not guessed correctly!!!

Looks great, That colour is stunning and the black wheels set it off nicely.

Won't you have to replace the sunstrip with whatever the sponsor of the CSCC clasics says has to go there??

Notice you fitted a Turbo emblem ala Turbo S......nice one !
Car looks great....................."Well Phat" in street speak.

Answer-The little black washer jets normally on the bonnet! They have been replaced with jets on the windscreen wiper and a smaller washer bottle[:)]

Cunning, my old BX had the same arrangement and it worked well. Fitting that would have been a much nicer job than cutting the holes for the washer jets to go through too!

In your quest for 'added lightness', I assume you will be fitting that special lightweight water too?![;)]

Thats an idea! Also there is one component left in the whole equation that is far too heavy and is probably going to get heavier over Christmas....!![8|][:D]
