Something i have been working on!

ORIGINAL: MarkK

Thats an idea! Also there is one component left in the whole equation that is far too heavy and is probably going to get heavier over Christmas....!![8|][:D]

I think we'll all suffer that particular problem Mark - irrespective of what car we drive!

Today was pick up day,was really excited from the minute i woke up,had to cadge a lift of my brother to Birmingham to drop me at EMC,when i got there i was really blown away by the car as i had not seen it in its final form with wheels on,seats in,stickered up in the flesh.Had to get a tax disc first as i sorned the car when i dropped it at EMC,after that it was time for the first quick drive, the guys at EMC gave me a lesson on the best way to get in the car which was pretty tricky and after some fiddling about we have come to the conclusion that the adjustable seat runner is going to have to go as it takes up valuable height inches, for today the base cushion is out, anyway it was freezing cold today and i took it for its first spin as a track car.The noise of the car was not as loud as i thought the GAZ suspension feels firm yet compliant?,makes the odd noise on big bumps or very rough surfaces but i really liked it,then what got me was the way the car feels lighter than a road turbo, off boost it feels so much quicker then on the couple of occasions i have had it on boost it really leaps forwards. The whole experience feels really like a "Cup car" and in a nutshell it feels rigid, light, direct and very quick and quick to stop.Really looking forward to getting to know it better when the roads are not as slippy[:)]Very grateful to the EMC blokes for the hard work that has gone into the car they did exactly what they said they would do,on time aswell.Looking forward to next years racing and probably finding out i have bitten off more than i can chew, but at the same time enjoying it.I took a pic of the car when i got home but the light was bad will post a couple more over Christmas.

Looks great Mark and I am looking forward to your upcoming accounts of driving it. Especially the new responsiveness and ability to turn in and hold it's line. The new acceleration is just the cream on top. [:)]

Looking better all the time

I was diving in your area early this morning, should have given you a call so I could see it in the flesh [8D]
