South coast Cayman Register Members informal get together?

I've spoken to the Aero Club Cafe and mentioned that there could be half a dozen of us visiting at 9:00 a.m.'ish on Sunday 1st July - I guess we'd be there for maybe an hour or two? I've agreed to contact them a few days beforehand to confirm numbers.

This is not an official PCGB event, it's just an opportunity for PCGB Cayman Register members to drive their Cayman, kick tyres and chat about the Cayman, have a coffee and bacon roll.

Please let me know, or add your name to this list, if you intend to be there.

Hi Andrew,

We are in Southampton so not far from Chichester. We hope to be free on that day, not sure yet but it sounds like good fun. Haven’t got round to registering the car with the POC yet as the documents are yet to come back to me. Is the Cayman section a separate part of the club or am I getting it wrong?

Kind regards, Adrian.

Hi Andrew

Would like to bring my Cayman to you meeting at Goodwood. We need something for caymans in the south,i am a Porsche Tech and would like to

help and advise people

Neil,

Glad to hear you want to join us, it’ll be very useful to have a Porsche Tech present for help and advice! I’ll add you to the list.

Hi Adrian, not sure if you had a response, but we're just part of the PCGB club, so you're more than welcome to join in!

Yes I’ve had a response thanks. Because we are so close we have few option, either Rownhams Servs or Beaulieu Road Station. We have decided to make our way to Beaulieu Road Station along the Marchwood Bypass & are looking forward to it.

cheers

Hi Guys

Sorry but with a two hour plus trip from Lyme Regis a 9am start is a bit early for me. Perhaps a lunch event next time or if breakfast a venue a bit further west!

Philip

I am based in up Wimbledon area but would welcome the opportunity to bust the southern party and pop down to Goodwood for a coffee and chat, particularly as there will be some technical knowledge there to pick!

Let me know if that is OK and hopefully will see you there...... rob

Hi Adrian, are you and others convoying to Goodwood , starting from the station? I’m coming up from near Poole so could join in if so, cheers Craig

Philip,

I’ve sent you a PM. I’m in Sidmouth and up for a mini meet after we get back early July.

Ralph

I would like to join you on 1st July. The journ from Odiham to Goodwood is is ideal Cayman driving.

Thank you to everyone who has responded to Kevan's (Buddy) email about this meeting, it's been a very encouraging response. I'll assume that those attending are likely to want a coffee or tea in the Aero cafe, and possibly a breakfast too, in which case I will alert the cafe as they like to know roughly how many people they may need to cater for.

As Buddy said in his email this is just an informal get together of PCGB Cayman Register members (it doesn't matter which region you're in), which may then lead to future meetings in the Southern Region. I'm not a fan of convoys but am happy to make my own way to an agreed meeting point for coffee and chat, being of a 'senior' age mid-week meetings would suit me fine.

I look forward to meeting you all on the 1st July.
