Yes I’ve had a response thanks. Because we are so close we have few option, either Rownhams Servs or Beaulieu Road Station. We have decided to make our way to Beaulieu Road Station along the Marchwood Bypass & are looking forward to it.

cheers

Hi Adrian, are you and others convoying to Goodwood , starting from the station? I’m coming up from near Poole so could join in if so, cheers Craig

Craig, just to clear up any confusion, Adrian's post in this thread was actually referring to the Simply Porsche event at Beaulieu earlier this month and not the meeting at Goodwood.

Andrew.

Sorry but with a two hour plus trip from Lyme Regis a 9am start is a bit early for me. Perhaps a lunch event next time or if breakfast a venue a bit further west!

Please keep watching these forums and perhaps there will be a future meeting a bit closer to you.

Andrew.

Cheers Andrew! Anyway, if anyone is looking at heading up from circa the M27/A35 neck of the woods, let me know....

Hi, travelling from the sunny Isle of Sheppey, hopefully the Tea and Bacon rolls will be ready at 09:00 !

Looking forward to it

Andy

Hey ho,

Goodwood is one of my regular haunts. Look forward to seeing everybody there. I will go for brekky if it is available.[8D]

Hello Andrew,

Yes please, I would like to join you on 1st July. I live about an hour away from Goodwood.

Hi Andrew

I am a member of the Porsche club ,i have a Cayman S i will be there on the st July

Regards Mike Bryant

Regrettably unable to make it this time, however, a chinwag about cayman’s, at flying club, particularly if we have a Porsche tech present sounds great. Maybe next time.

Hi All. Very new to the club, have a 718, live in Sussex, adore Goodwood, partial to breakfast, free on the 1st July = would love to come along.

Hi Andrew,

Have you counted up the 'Yesses'? I haven't, but it seems as though there will be quite a few Caymans there on the 1st. Hope there isn't another get-together, eg MAMILs, on that day or the cafe could get crowded.

Looking forward to meeting up on the 1st (and to the drive - Storrington, Petworth, Goodwood is one of my favourite routes).

Best wishes,

Alan

Maybe if there's a lot of us, they'll let us onto the track so we don't clog up the car park........!!

There's been a great response to my suggestion for a breakfast meeting at Goodwood on 1st July, thank you.

Here's a list of those who've expressed an interest in attending....

I had in mind to spend time outside with our cars rather than sitting at a table, and those who do want to sit at a table will probably only need the place for a short time. There are bound to be other tables available and I don't want to reserve too many places in case some people can't attend or others don't want breakfast. Comments?

With sincere regret, I'm now a "non attendee"...wifey has pulled rank (she's got an all day event up North somewhere so I'm now at home minding the fort). If the Cayman tech chap is there, please give him a grilling (in a nice way!) re the usual pressing issues / concerns we all share from time to time. Hopefully catch you all at the next gig. Cheers

Hi Andrew,

I don’t want to mess up your thread to this great event but after the Goodwood get together in the morning has anyone thought about driving up to The Bush at Ovington for an alcohol free pint? It’s 52 mins from Goodwood according to Google. For us going back to Southampton it is just a slight detour & would be nice to attend both events in a slightly different way. What do you think, is it feasible?

All the best, Adrian

Apparently The Bush at Ovington date has now changed so the above message is now irrelevan. Please ignore.

Hi,

I am new to the club and based in Wiltshire. I'd like to come and say hello, I currently have a 987 Cayman S but should hopefully be picking up a 981 GTS on Saturday from Porsche Swindon. It sounds like a nice excuse for a Sunday drive!

Mike.
