Southern Meet Hastings/Brighton

Hi Robbie,

It would be nice to see you... Goodwood to Brighton on the A27 , the bugbear is Worthing/Goring which is a bit slow but I`ve always found the rest of the route good...all dual carriageway with no speed cameras.

Hey, if you`re coming you could lead for a bit on your alternative route[:)] Route reviews are most welcome. Simms usually manages to take troups off road in search of Shell Petrol, along the beach last time so hey, your route can`t be worse!

And hi Les too...your former strutbrace is still in place on SCZ I just put that small in case any one thought I`m off-topic!

Is a Thurrock rendezvous still on the cards or is everyone from Essex and related places going straight to Goodwood ?

We are still doing Thurrock - 6:30 for 7:00 departure. So far I am aware of four cars at this meet from Essex alone so it could make for a good run.

I'll be going to Goodwood but sadly in the Laguna [:(] and i'll be mostly coming in from the other direction to you lot.
Jon informs me KUI is still on life support for another month until the release of a new Garrett Hybrid is released.[8D]

Am certainly hoping to come along though fraid I still cant confirm it for certain as yet as am waiting on other things sorting themselves out before I can commit.

Will certainly look to join the Thurrock posse if I do. I take it the rendezvous is at Thurrock services ?

Are you guys going pass clacket lane services on the way to goodwood because we are coming from the A21 and it would be easier to meet you lot as you go pass!

Autoroute seems to indicate that, if we leave Thurrock services at 7:00 we should pass Clacket Lane at 7:24 and turn onto the M23 11 minutes later.

If you have 2 way radios I will be on Channel 500. Or ring me on 07887791913.

Thanks for that John i have a uniden two way radio but my channels only go up to 20, I,ve have your number my is 07809209211 thanks paul

Is there an attendance list or something? anyways add me on. I shall be heading from the west I guess Tony is from my way but best route for me is A303 / M3 etc. anyone else going this way?

Hi Neil,

It is a bit difficult to establish as few have said they are definitely going.
As far as I am aware the definites are:-

Keith (obviously)
Peter Empson
Rock Connoll
Neil Haughey
John Sims
pal944
Christopher I Ralph
Wizard (in a Laguna)
Suffolk944
Big Les
Robbie

Possibles are

Cliffordl
Hilux (At Goodwood but might not make it to Brighton)

Anyone else please let me know and I'll add your name above.

I haven't checked Titanic so, again, if anyone is aware of any others it would be good to get an idea of what to expect prior to Sunday.

Also, I can't make The Ace tomorrow (as I'm picking up the new member of the Sims tribe) so there may be more comming following that.
