Very good point Glenn, thanks for all your hard work Ed. I don't have enough leave left to take tomorrow off without a trackday to go to but if the trackday is rearranged hopefully I can make it then.

Whist I did try and remain optimistic, in the end it may well be better we do this track day when the weather is less cold and icy. Whilst its difficult for me to confirm another trackday just yet without first organising time off work, the 20th May could be ideal (April looks pretty booked up). What do you think? I will call Javelin tomorrow and see re price, etc. Edd

Sounds good, fair play for keeping the momentum up. I'll check the holiday rota.

Hey Edd Real shame it didn't work out and to echo everyone else thanks for your efforts to get us all this far. If I had a snow plough I'd offer to hook it up to the family wagon and clear the track. I'm going to buy some winter tires this November so that will guarantee no snow for next season! I can't do May due to work commitments so will have to rebook for April 15th or June 10th if the majority of you opt for May - no worries these things happen. Am at Silverstone on 7th April and Spa on 16th June if anyone is going / fancies join us? Cheers Slodge

May 20th sounds good (albeit a week after an outing at Keevil!), let us know when you settle on a date. Let's hope that there are enough spaces to accomodate the group - would be a real shame not get such a large bunch of 944s together...

Gutted, and Gutted for you Edd all the planning, Track, Hotel and evening meal but to be honest I am not surprised hence my call to Javelin on Friday, just couldn't see the track being cleared, in Colchester it hasn't actually stopped snowing since Friday evening, ok the roads are clear but off road it ain't clever. Just hope we can get another 40 odd cars to the rescheduled event, May 20th is good for me.

I want to cry [:(] And am £40 lighter having only booked the hotel this morning ......double gutted. Was just on my way down to the car to load my track day box when Mr McN and Mr Smith texted me......................And I've seen the result of the GP on a news web site as well so my whole afternoon has turned to pants. AAARRRRRGGGGG!!!!!! [][][][][][]

Just heard. Gutted. Edd, thanks for all your work and I'll see if I can make the 20th. In the meantime is anyone still going to the hotel for dinner and a beer?

Thanks for all the hard work organising the day, shame the weather got the better of it. Feels like we have had a 18 month winter! 20th may is fine for me Rgds Shawn

Gutted... Thanks so much for all the work in arranging Edd. Guess I'll have to work tomorrow now ... [] I feel like my 3 year old feels when a balloon pops - going from sheer thrill with anticipation and excitement to being gutted..

Gutted too, would have been great to see so many 944s (and its younger and older brothers) on track together [:(]

Oh dear, such a shame after all the efforts put in to get it organised by Edd [:(]. You'd think March would be a reasonably safe bet to avoid this sort of thing (hence why so many of us signed up, I guess), but clearly the British weather these days can't be relied upon for anything []!! I'm up for 20th May, if you're able to swing something with Javelin to get us a block booking... Phil

Edd, you invested a great deal of time pulling together so many 944s for this track day, and I am sure that once everyone gets over the dissapointment more and more posts thanking you will appear on this forum. I am doubly disappointed as I had two cars coming, my own 944 turbo cab being driven by a freind (there's trusting isn't it?) and the camper-van basher; as a result of breaking my left wrist wrist and elbow last April they are a bit sore and stiff with all the mechanical fettling I have been doing this last week. Come 20th May it will be feeling stronger, and maybe my friend will be available too, so that we can bring the 944 and the 996. Other wise I am sorry to say, it will have to be the 996 only in May, so I am a definite for that. I'll have to each my cornish pastie and pringles at home now. OOOh and the Bakewell tarts
