The standard Moo3 and cup cages have the single diagonal, the extra bar to form the X is a modification, no doubt makes the cage stronger at the sides. Quite a few German cars seem to have that done, whether it is a requirement for a race class, I am unsure.
I think it must have been a requirement in 92 and 93 French Cup as my car had them added too. These were removed for originality AND EASE OF ENTRY.

Chris, have a look on the rear shelf of your NGT, there is a shell number stamped there, something else to worry about! []
Don't worry chris that number is not an estimate for a paint Job!!!
7 digits including the pence ??? []

ABS unit sitting right next to the spare tire. Is this the correct location in a Clubsport ?
This is correct.

Welding of roll cage at roof section correct ?
I don't believe mine has this piece of "trim" above the front roof bar --- but it has 15cm + of snow on the roof so I'm not about to clear a path through !

From my recent experience a good standard N-GT is from ÂŁ50K plus in reasonably good conditiononly about 52 Euro! Cheap in the UK, Tomas and others are hoovering up 64 and 93RS here in the UK ..... Cheapest N-GT 64 in Europe 60K Euro ... buy in UK sell in Europe ...
Enquirer speak to Paul McLean GT Classics he might have a N-GT kurking .....
Colour is also a big premium, the pastels are worth more than the Blacks and reds...
White, Maritime, Mint Green best colours in the reverse order .....
Tomas wanted to retail my car for 70K in Europe!
Paul now appears to have 3 Clubsports on his site now http://www.gtclassics.co.uk/gtclassics2.htm
I would second that --- three in the same place at the same time is greedy !
And a black one, low miles, ÂŁ50k ??
Paul will also know the answers to all your questions ...
It's a shame dealers get a bit of a hard time on here, especially as I consider some giving the stick as friends rather than customers. Having said that from my perspective I'm not sure whether I'm a dealer or someone who has formalised their hobby. I basically got involved with these cars as an enthusiast.
The Red car is a truely stunning example and the Black car is an ex race car thats had some damage, nothing too serious though. It's mechanically and body matching numbers car, but has had both front wings replaced. The outside has just had a full repaint by a dealer, so not a bad looking car. The only thing really missing on this car are the mag wheels.
Hi Clubsport. Glad you like the racing. To be honest in my own collection I now have a 993 GT2-R a 964 RSR and 993 RSR and thought about selling one of them, but not sure I can bring myself to do it. I've got someone in the states chasing the 964 RSR and I've started getting cold feet over it. Really not sure what to do.
As regards dealers getting a hard time, let me redress the balance a little.
Its just about 2 years since I bought a Maritime RSL from you on the basis that you said it was a nice car. I think it fair to say that that opinion has been confirmed by most people who have subsequently seen the car. What they may not know is that when lights and brake disc issues arose that required rectificaiton for the first registration and MOT, you took a great deal of personal time to solve both problems at no cost to me. The service you provided was of the highest standard and I would have no hesitation in buying from you again.
So to quote a certain newly elected president of the USA "If there is anyone out there (reading this) who still questions..." then pm me.
Regards
Nick

Hi Chris. Yes personally I would say the Black car is good value, especially if someone in europe buys it. The price differential between the Red collectors car and the Black ex race car is large.

I'm aware that last year a certain dealer/importer had a bit of a hard time on here after seeking freebie knowledge from some very helpful members - then using the very same knowledge to sell their stock at a sizeable profit to UK buyers. It was interpreted by some of us as biting the hand that feeds etc...
Personally Paul, I would like to see you posting here a lot more than you do. You are very experienced with the rarer and more-special Porsches and I feel the 964RS forum suffers with not having you here more often to share your knowledge.
I think the number of posts on here recommending a call to GT Classics shows that you are a well-respected and welcome member of the RS clan here.

Is the bendy pipe for shouting at the Philippino boy under the bonnet to peddle faster? []
